Pokemon Tourney Planned
Anyone here gonna participate in this??I wish I could cause I would have been very ready to participate my pokeymans in it. What sucks is it seems there are only two places that you would go to play and enter,Califoria and New York? Both of which I can't get too yet the final is in Orlando of which I live by that I could enter if that was a location??

Bleh, I'd give anything to live in Orlando and be able to enter the TCG grinder. Go do that instead >_>

Ya but to even participate in the Orlando one as the final you have to go to NY or CA to even get in, so I'm still S.O.L..They should have had several locations across the US like they did a couple of years ago for there other video game tourney..

You don't have to go to any qualifiers to enter the TCG grinders.

Well now that the site finally stopped 'vomiting' I was able to get through the quiz. I've chosen Cali, since I'm right next door as it were...

My guess is they decided on a west coast place and an east coast place, probably a heck of a lot less confusing than having a pre-qualifying tournament in every state.

I actually took the quiz and entered to participate at the NY location. I live in New York and the building it's held at is about an hour long commute from where I live by bus and train. :X

I'll be living in Davis, CA at the time. But that's a bit of a drive from there. I haven't decided yet.

I would enter, but I'm poor and living in Ohio, so I can't get to New York or California. And I don't like their rules. :P

I share all your problems with this, especially the poor and living in Ohio part.

I passed the quiz and registered for the New York location. :3;; One thing bugs me, though, and that's the fact that when I registered it would only accept my birth date as 01/22/89 (I inputted it as 07/22/89 on the first page, but on the second page it was displayed as 01/22/89.) Did anyone else have this problem? =_= (I'm thinking about contacting the site about this, since there's no way for me to go and change it-- I don't honestly think it'll be a problem, but you never know how anal people will be about that kind of thing, right?)

Yeah, I just sent a question to them about it. :d Like I said, I'm guessing it won't make any difference- it's not like I would have placed into a different age division if the date had been correct- but I'm slightly OCD about that kind of thing, so I feel the need to ask. xD

While the site was hiccuping, I had that problem, but a day or so later it picked it up just fine :)

I live less then an hour from the LA site, so threw in my hat :)

Even if I lived around there and my game was hack-free, I wouldn't do it. They have really dumb rules D:

Nothing for Europeans? I mean, even if I was in the states, I lived in AZ and wouldn't have been able to attend... but it's sad to see that even Japan doesn't have it's own leg in this.

Will there never be a REAL Worldwide Pokemon Tournament?

Actually, Japan is included. They have a page here with all the rules and such :D IDK if you'll be able to see it or not - it was linked from the DAISUKI club homepage - so if you want I can take a screen or something. Basically it has a picture of the finals of JAA, and a bunch of text probably discussing the rules.

Naw... the rules are outrageous... I live close to the area too... too bad...

I entered for NYC :D I really hope I'm going to get through - I participated in JAA way back and lost second round to the winner D:

As for the rules, I don't really think they're too outrageous. Granted, the no auto-50 thing is annoying, but it kinda gives everybody the same time frame to develop their own teams. And since I don't have any right now...for me I think it'll be for the better ^^

(good luck to all in the drawings :D)
