Meme Mania! So I'm on
Hilton Head Island at the Grande Ocean Resort. It was a ten hour drive, but it actually feels worth it. I have to wear a wristband (think "Livestrong") with the name of the resort to walk around. LAME. Anyway, here are some memes to tide me over before I go to the beach:

Let's talk about books this week.
1. What are you currently reading? If you're not reading anything right now, what was the last book you read?
I just read
Life of Pi on the car ride here. I'll probably read the <"

2. Where is your favorite place to get your books from?
Borders! I have a Rewards Card!
3. Name a book you've read and did not enjoy.

4. How has your taste in books changed over the years? What types of books do you read now as opposed to five years ago?
I had a stage with political non-fiction, and autobiographies, now I'm back onto novels and religious text. I'll probably go back to political non-fiction because of the election.
5. When you walk into your favorite bookstore, where do you go? Mystery...Romance...Latest Releases....Non-Fiction...etc?
I walk around aimlessly and pick up whatever looks good.

Four For FridayQ1 - Television: In case you've missed the public service announcements in recent months, the federal government here in the United States has set February 17, 2009, as the date by which all television stations must discontinue broadcasting an analog signal. Are you prepared for the switchover? Are any of the televisions in your home currently unable to accept a digital signal?
The one in the kitchen and the one in my mom's bathroom. They both use antennas.
Q2 - R.S.V.P.: According to The Emily Post Institute, your most important obligation as an invited wedding guest is to respond to the invitation immediately, especially if you are unable to attend. Generally speaking, how long does it take for you to R.S.V.P. to a wedding, dinner party, birthday party, etc? Do you R.S.V.P. right away or do you tend to wait till the last possible moment?
In terms of weddings, mom takes care of that. On facebook, I usually check my work schedule and RSVP as soon as possible, even if it's a "maybe". Immediately if I know I can't go.
Q3 - Hug it Out: How do you feel about hugging? Do enjoy being hugged or does it make you feel uncomfortable?

Q4 - Stunt: Pick a celebrity, any celebrity. Got one? Good. Now, picture yourself in charge of their next publicity stunt. Do tell... who is your celebrity and what would you have them do?

Friday Fun
1. What browser do you use and why do you like it?
Firefox. If I need to use something else, I'll use Safari. IE is for emergencies only.
2. Some people let it all hang out on their blog, while others keep it light, and still others fall somewhere in between. Where does your blog fall in that?
I only let it all hang out sometimes. When I'm upset, I usually don't feel like blogging.
3. A lot of people have themed blog like a deployment blog or a crafty blog or one just for memes (like Friday Fun!). What about yours? Do you maintain more than one blog?
I have more than one, but I only update one at a time, and I definitely don't have ones for different purposes. Unless you count the music sharing blog and character/ship themed ones I maintain.
4. I like to play online games, like the ones found at Yahoo Games. Do you play any like that? Share some links!!

5. There are forums to chat on about just about everything under the sun. Do you belong to any and what are your favorites? Links, please!
I used to post on them all the time and I even own(ed) one. Currently, I don't.
