This is going to be a quick one without any pics because I was too busy running around working the con! But I did have breakfast at 9 and I had lunch around.. uh... 5 PM?

So anyway, the sales at the AP Magical Boutique were brisk like crazy all day the first day. Lines to get in galore because of the appointment system. However, because everyone was buying like crazy (markup was negligible.. really...) one report I got from a loli staffer she said, all the skirts that AP brought to PMX were SOLD OUT by 2:00 PM (and I wanted to buy a skirt!!).

By the time 6:00 PM rolled around, they were down to 10% of their stock. Seriously.

I predict that by 11 AM tomorrow, the Angelic Pretty Magical Boutique will be COMPLETELY sold out. The only thing that will be left will be the fixtures. So hurry on down and buy whatever you can because nothing will be left! Also...

MAKI AND ASUKA ARE SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

With my last minute preparations going on, I found myself wondering...

Do we pick up brunch/concert tickets ect. along WITH our badges when we show up?

I keep thinking I got some email I should have printed... Or I completely missed this information in a post or something. XD

Help in clearing this up?

I have the emails printed that I'm supposed to bring to get my badge, so I'm just wondering if all the other things will be there at registration.

hey there everybody.

okay, so I'm in a hotel room with 2 other lolis and i know a lot of other girls are going to be roomies with other lolis... can you imagin how awesome out hotel closets are going to look full of different peoples loli outfits?!?!?!

I PRESENT TO YOU:

after PMX we know the main egl comm will be flooded with photos, but lets have a fun little photo posting of our own here.
when everybody in your room (or just you if you have a fun collection) fills your hotel closet to the brim, snap a photo and post it here when PMX is over!!

I personally invite each and every one of you to the Twisted Tea Party at 4pm on Saturday in San Lorenzo F Room. I am not sure if this room will not be easy to find, so let me give some directions: it's on the 2'ed floor above the lobby area, pretty much right above the Bistro. So if you are walking up the stairs and the Hotel's front door are directly behind you, its on the left side of the floor. I don't know how many team will be competing this year, but i PROMISE YOU that there will be a good show. I can only speak for myself and my groups project, but you won't be disappointed.

okay people, I know some of us are on the road already, and others are driving/flying in tomorrow, and then even more will pour in on Friday morning... PMX is almost here. I can't wait to see old friends and make new ones, if you see me at PMX, come up and say "hi" I am friendly and only 60% of the time running around crazy w/my head cut off.

Hello everyone

I'd like to announce that Angelic Pretty Magical Boutique rules and policies have now been posted. Please read them carefully, as there are a number of important things to know when shopping at the boutique.

Also, I would like to reminds everyone the deadline for purchasing tickets to the Fashion Brunch is Wednesday Nov 7th noon pacific time. That is only 6 days away, and there are still some great seats left! In addition to everything you expect from last year's Unbirthday Party (less the heat), this event will have a fashion show conducted by Angelic Pretty, as well as a few secret surprises only for the participants of this event. I am not going to announce what they are, but you won't regret it. Of course, I can't say the same for those who decides to skip out on this.

So, if you're a fan of sweet lolita fashion. And you're on the fence deciding, make the decision to participate. You won't be kicking yourself for not doing so, and you will also be helping your community in paving the path into bringing more direct connections with designers and boutiques experiences from Japan.

Remember, it was just one year ago. The thought of having such involvements form designers was just a promise. Now we have the BTSSB store opening soon tentatively on March 08, and Angelic Pretty is here. We've made good progress, but the goal is far from over, so please keeping showing your support!

For those who had already purchased your tickets to the Fashion Brunch, I personally thank each and everyone of you in helping to create a solid future for our community.

Gothic Lolita Fashion Showcase (and swap meet)

Well, it looks like I’ll be hosting a panel @_@;;; though don’t worry, I’m getting loads of help from Many girls putting the information together~
No really. Hello all!!! What started as a “sly” way to have a swap meet, has evolved and turned into an honest to gowsh Panel. So here is yet another post this with good and final information!!

Hard Facts
Gothic Lolita Fashion Showcase (and swap meet) will be:
Friday, 2pm-4pm, Pacific Ballroom A.
:::EDIT::: i *JUST* got word that we got moved from 1 to 2 hour slot, so the timing of this might move around a bit.

What the heck is this?
This 1 hour time slot will be for a short Intermediate* Level Lolita Fashion Display. We will have several different models with different body types modeling different Styles of Lolita, Including but not limited to, Sweet, classic, punk, sailor, gothic, home made, etc. This should take no more then 15-20 minutes.

*We shall go on the assumption that the audience will have a basic/beginning understanding of Lolita and we shall skip bell skirt vs square dancing shape.

The Models or “Loli’s with experiences,” will stay and hang out/mingle amongst the audience after the informative part of panel in order to answer any questions about their outfits, or the Style they are wearing.
I SUPER DUPER UBER encourage everybody to come up and talk to them, they are all knowledgeable about the Lolita Fashion, and will be there to share their experiences with others who might only be starting out. If you consider yourself an accomplished Loli already, then who doesn’t like to look at others coordination’s, and be able to confer with other girls? I hope this style, this “Lolita in Motion” will encourage people to come out of their shells and join in a discussions and exchange of ideas. Most of the Models REALLY know their stuff, and have a wealth of experiences, they will be there *just waiting* to talk about their clothing (because really what Loli doesn’t like to talk about their clothing?)

There Will Still Be A Gothic Lolita Clothing Swap Meet
YES!~ at this panel, that is what the rest of the time is for. During the informative part of the panel, sellers will be able to set up their stuff, so that buyers can jump on it when they get out of their seats.

I already have a working list of sellers, but if anybody is planning on brining something to sell, please contact me either by the Email address I will post at bottom, or by leaving a comment. ALSO when contacting me please leave an email active email address where we can exchange emails if needs be.

Continuing tradition, PMX's original Twisted Tea Party is an event to showcase innovative visual communication working around the theme of a tea party. Participants will be asked to create a scene that conveys a story or message. In order to promote creativity, there is a $200 prize for the group who best demonstrates the principles of the event through their skit.

Hey there everybody.

This post is a long time coming, sorry for delay in updating (life+work+Halloween+PMX prep=NO TIME!!!)
The un-official swap meet is for sure a go. we have a 1 hour panel, not a lot of time, but hopefully that will be enough for everybody to look around and buy stuff!

The point of this venture is to take the swap meet off of the floor of the Lobby and make it a real event. We have not gotten 100% confirmation on when it will be but I'm *pretty confident* it is going to be early Saturday. It will not be against any other big Lolita events such as Fashion brunch or twisted tea party.

for the buyers
This is *hopefully* going to be the place to get affordable items to fill out your lolita collection, and then go a lil'crazy on accessories and other things a the AP Magical Boutique.

for the sellers
if you are interested and plan to bring something, please leave a comment so I can get an idea of #'s
Since we are basically doing this as a panel, we will be in a pannle (Setup wise) room, ie, table in front and chairs. We will be able to get a few extra tables in the room, so girl who are brining stuff to sale will be able to set it up on a table. They are normal 2x4 feet table, and each table will be for 2 people (we can only get 4 extra tables so we'll just have to make it work.) that being said, table space will be 1'st come 1'st serve, OR given to people who Sign up with me before hand. I'm in the talks with trying to get us some table cloths so that, IF more people then table space show up to sale, we will at least be able to lay out clothing on cloths vs the ground.

I Think that is all of the information that I myself have now. I'll update this post with any new info.

If your interested in being a seller, please comment and I'll start making a list.

*Also a note, we've seen how reactive PMX tends to be, so if this is a successful small event, maybe next year it can be a successful BIG event and be "official" like~ I've even had thoughts of how something like this could be made more inclusive for not 2ed hand loli clothing, but possibly Homemade crafts and other such things.. of course this is all long term, not this year thinking, but I just wanted to share some of my madness with everybody.

I know everyone has been waiting on the edge of their seats this year for the sales of the Angelic Pretty Fashion Brunch tickets. My apologies for the gross delays due to the complexity nature of this year's events. We at Cosplay Oneesan wanted to ensure no smallest details are left attended. Now, without further delay, the news you've all been waiting for:

The Angelic Pretty Fashion Brunch tickets will go on sale this Friday October 26th 2007 9pm pacific time.

You will find all the information regarding this event at both PMX, and Cosplay Oneesan websites. The direct URL to ticket purchases will be posted there shortly.

Also, let me remind everyone that the dress and conduct codes to this event will be strictly enforced. Please take moment to study them if you haven't done so already.

Further more, in the spirit of the recent Lolita Food drives. We will be working with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to raise food for needy, just in time for Thanks Giving. We will have donation drums available at the registration office during the convention. Please bring healthy, non-perishable foods for donation. That means pokey and cakes No, cream corn Yes. A defiant to the Marie Antoinette stereotype. Beheading is out, benevolence is in.

Help with eventually ordering brunch tickets

Hello everyone! I was wondering how we can re-log into registration (since i registered last month and all) to be able to purchase the tickets to the brunch when they become available. I remember that last year there was a link on PMX's site to be able to log into registration again to purchase the tickets to the various events and i cant seem to find it now.

Alright folks. I just want to drop a quick note to let everyone that we've finalized that last of the details. We are ready to publish all the details including a target date for ticket sales. Sorry for all the delays, but we wanted to make sure everything is just *perfect*.

Currently, the event rules of conducts has been updated. And those who hasn't submitted their Twisted Tea Party entries, please do it ASAP.

A follow up will be posted once the details are up on the site, hopefully sometimes this weekend.
