8th Annual Arts & Crafts Bazaar

Come join us! We are getting ready for the 2005 holiday season, which means it is time for another wonderful bazaar! We are very excited because we have been so successful in the past and plan to do even better this year! We will be collecting candy money this month for the bazaar. Please mark your donations "Bazaar Candy".

We have spaces for rent on a first come, first serve basis for a dontation of $25.00 per space, plus an additional $5.00 rental fee if we provide you with a table.

We will have our Annual Baked Goods and other homemade goodies. Breakfast and lunch will be provided in the dining area as well as a quilt drawing. PLEASE, HAND CRAFTED ITEMS ONLY!

The Good Year's Club is taking a summer break!

They will not meet again until September!

  Our Congregation needs someone to spearhead this ministry. Anyone who is mechanically inclined and needs some spiritual growth contact Teresa Hoey and she will provide all the information and support.

                             CHURCH RETREAT

                                                "SPONTANEOUS PRAYER"

                                                          Saturday, June 25th

                                                                       9:00 am - 8:00 pm

                                                                                 and

                                                                        Sunday, June 26th

                                                                         9:00 am - 6:00 pm

 

We hope everyone has marked their calendars for our Church Retreat on June 25 and 26, at Fellowship Point on beautiful Lake Norman. This will be our third retreat. We did not have a retreat last year, as we were working hard to get into our sanctuary by Anniversary Sunday.

We have combined Sunday School classes at 9:45 am. There will not be a worship at church. We will leave immediately following Sunday School. Anyone needing a ride, please see Jimmy Odom.

The retreat officially begins Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 am. We will have Fellowship Point until Sunday, June 26th at 6:00 pm. We hope to work things out so that campers will be able to go up to Fellowship Point Friday night at 6:00 pm to camp.

Meals will be provided Saturday and Sunday. Early campers will have to fend for themselves Friday night and Saturday morning. There are a number of camp sites, and there is no extra charge for those of us who want to camp.

So bring your fishing pole, sun glasses, lawn chairs, swim suits, bathing caps and beach ball and let's have a great weekend! Our theme this year is "Spontaneous Prayers." Sound interesting? We Hope so!

 

                                

Our 11th Anniversary

Just a reminder that on June 5, 2005 , Pleasant Grove will celebrate it's 11th Anniversary. Please invite your friends and family to this wonderful celebration in the life of the church. If you would like someone to receive a special invitation, please call the church office with a complete address.

As a reminder, we are having a covered dish luncheon, please bring your favorite dish!!!!
