4Kids is trying to win back our love. With uncut DM subs.
"Original Japanese Language Sonic X & Yu-Gi-Oh! subtitled episodes of Season 1 WITHOUT ANY CONTENT EDITS - i.e. the original real deal - are coming online! We have Sonic X episodes & Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes almost ready for prime time. In the coming weeks they will be available online - Sonic X in the US & Canada and Yu-Gi-Oh! worldwide except Asian countries. Now that the raw of 66 is out, I decided to do a comparison.

HEY Y'ALL ROOK HERE LOLOL-
With the rush of Anime being transformed into Hollywood movies (ie; Dragonball (sob), Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in a Shell, Akira, Death Note etc-), I got to wondering about my own favourite series. of course, all the titles they've taken under their wing are quite revolutionary in the field of anime and I doubt that the subject of this community would be getting it's own film any time soon, I wanted to know, just for fun; should Yu-Gi-Oh! ever, in some strange, parallel dimension get it's own movie, who would fill the starring roles? What short and stocky geek would you choose to play Yugi? What albino cream puff do you think could laugh as maniacally as Bakura can? On top of that, who'd direct it all?
Well, that's what we're going to find out- and you're on the casting creeeeew omgg. You can choose any type of celebrity, mind you- you don't have to reserve it to those strictly in the field of acting, or strictly from Hollywood. Since it's only a game, it can be a worldwide star search.

So I'm talking to a friend on AIM who works at a Burger King:
Me (12:04:50 AM): i want to read fic... and there's one on the comm... but it's wewy and i really wanted some tendershipping angst... Her (12:05:01 AM): tendershipping? Her (12:05:12 AM): that almost sounds like one of the chicken sandwiches at work.

So, this is something that has been bugging me. All the police seem to be able to duel, and dueling seems to be integral to the culture. There are even laws against Satellites dueling, if I heard correctly.
Is dueling the basis of their legal system? Like, win a duel against a judge and you are innocent?
If so, that's a terrible justice system.
I realize it's an anime, I just wonder about how that effing place functions.
On the other hand, how awesome would it be if this was some sort of "bread and circuses"* type thing? That would be very cool.
*"Bread and circuses" refers to a plan the Romans had to keep their populations from revolting. They gave them free bread, which was a major staple to them, and the free entertainment of the circuses. |

| Yugioh Singaporean English Dub & 4kids uncut |

I first heard about this version on Wikipedia but I originally thought that it was a lie. It was only until I came across the series while using Google Video search to find some 4Kids uncut eps.
This version was made with different voice actors from the 4Kids dub (Bakura has a different accent and, to be honest, I think most of the 4Kids voices are better*). I actually think that this dub respects the anime more with MUCH less tampering/censoring (card designs are the same as in the Japanese version , mild cursing, etc.).
You can see scenes that were never dubbed in the 4Kids version. In this episode ( for a few examples), you can see the part where Yami Bakura rips out the IV out of his arm and you can see the nosebleed inflicted on some random duelist after Yami Bakura beats him up.

Someone out there might remember how back in May I posted here saying that I wrote about Seto for one of my free response essays in the English AP test.
Well, I got my scores back today.
All I can say is, the Heart of the Cards must have been on my side ^__^
