Last night was our friend Jonathan LeVine's opening night for his new Chelsea space. The show, entitled POP PLURALISM, drew a huge crowd. When we arrived, there was a large number of people milling outside the building just to get to the elevators, and it was equally packed up on the ninth floor as well. The freight elevator got quite a workout.
Our paintings were hung in the main gallery near the entrance. Jordan Isip and Doze Green's pieces kept us company.
   
Our friend Silver Ali finally completed his cast bronze totem pole for Tim Biskup (the individual pieces can be restacked to suit the owner, as they all interlock). It was hard to get a clear shot of anything because of the sheer mass of people. You can make out Jeff Soto's new work behind it, though.
 
Owner Jonathan LeVine with his ever-stylish mother. It was a big night for Jonathan, and we once again extend our heartiest congratulations.

We were delighted to see our NY friends again, as we'd been out of circulation for quite some time. It was too tight in the gallery to take decent shots of everyone, so I quickly gave up.
