what to do?
So...I have a little self conflict problem right now. It feels like I'm about to wage war on myself with all the thinking I'm doing @_@; Over such a small matter too...So I wanna ask.

How often does the Venusaur Tomy plush show up? If at all...


I'm currently stuck as to whether or not I should bid on this guy, cause I don't know when's the next time I'll see one ;o; He's the only Venusaur plush I'm missing (and for good reason...), so he's like a grail basically. But I'm currently on a budget (not any serious, 'I can't pay for rent budget', but more like 'I should save my money for future purposes') So...should I go for it, or should I wait? TAT Thank you for everyone's advice! It really helped me clear my head and put me in a solid direction :'D

Well ask yourself how much you'd be willing to pay for it (shipping included).
If its going for more than that, think about how many times you've ever -really- seen that item before.
If neither of those are a problem, I'd say bid, but set a limit. (I'll only bid -so- high,)
And if some evil, evil person who ALWAYS MANAGES TO OUTBID YOU ON THE THINGS YOU WANT!!!!
May gawd smite them >:(

To me, a real grail is something I'll pay almost anything for :D so even though I couldn't really justify it, I paid a heap for my Ampharos plush~ (though I couldn't bring myself to pay $200 for the Togepi Pokemon mini game... jury's out, I guess XD). Anyway, just set a limit as much as you can afford, good luck!

True true. Real grails are things we would not hesitate to shell out money for. Don't think I'll ever have a grail then XD; -naturally very stingy person-

How much is it? How much is it worht to you? If your a serious collector for venasaur or any of the bulbasaur family I'd say grab it. i've learned some very hard lessons from not getting what you want while its there.

..very harsh lessons...

im not sure where this plush is being auction/sold, but yahoo Japan has one for $3, but theres a bid on it

Ah! That's the one. XD; It's really cheap right now, but the bid isn't what I'm worried about. I'm more worried about fees+shipping @_@; But I'm gonna try bidding on it and hopefully that persons max bid isn't that high...

who do you use? SMJ's shipping is cheap. If you do use SMJ than just bid at the last moment, if you win it, you'll be happy you went for it

I think it all depends on why you're saving, how much he is, and whether you'll be kicking yourself hard if you see him cheaper in a few weeks. I personally paid about $100 for all the Canvas Pixies together, because I'd been searching for them for about a year! I had the money at the time and went for it. Very happy with them. Well, I saw them on Mbok for 1000 yen the other day.

The question is, how would you respond to that? I basically rolled my eyes and said OH WELL, it was worth it! Would getting this Venusaur haunt you if it came back later cheaper because you missed out on whatever you were saving up for?

If it's not cutting into your budget that much, you've never seen it before, you really want it... it's probably worth it.

Hmmm...for any other plush I wouldn't have a problem letting it go for later. But these Venu tomys have been recalled, so it's hard to say when it'll next pop up D:

HM. I think it'll be worth it in the end 8D YOSH. I'm gonna bid on it!

Uh-oh ;o; Well, I'd rather not go against another comm member, so you can have it. I got my Venusaur hanky yesterday as well as some other things, so I'm satisfied for now.

Besides, another one has to show up some time eventually :]

ah yes i have that guy. hes the recalled tomy plush from the kanto starters plush line. he could be considered rare as i got mine from a midnight salez post here. hes a great plush, hope you find one! (do you have the lage venu plushie that has a derpy look? i only has the small one)

Aw, I didn't know he was a grail plush to someone here or else I would have set him aside. :/ (I was the one who sold Shaggy_Giffon theirs. And the photo you posted is actually that very one.) I got him on eBay so you could always try there maybe? ^^

I do hope you manage to get him. He a very lovely plush. <3

As for the should I or shouldn't spend. I spent 80 on my 1/1 scale Marill and 40 on my Marill pokedoll. Yeah I did have to sell a few things to cover costs on the 1/1 scale plush, but in the long run both were worth it. ^^
