Describe your clothing style (be sure to include colors as well): Comfortable, but sophisticated, I think. At school, I tend to be a fan of dark jeans with a sweatshirt, but outside of school, I’m a big fan of being comfy but looking good. I like to wear leggings with dresses, boots, flats, you name it. I love dresses and skirts, especially ones that twirl. If not that, jeans and a nice shirt, usually low cut (not going to lie) are preferable with a zip up sweatshirt. Colors are best described as earthy: greys, greens, browns, blacks, blues, even some pink thrown in when it matches.
Describe your ideal environment or the place you feel most comfortable: Oh! I would have to say my room. It’s cozy and it’s not too big or too small, so I have plenty of room but at the same time I don’t feel lost. It’s got everything I could want in it (barring a kitchen area and bathroom), but it’s the place I know I don’t have to worry about other people bothering me and I can do whatever I want in it!

Five Positive Adjectives: These are always so hard for me! Alright lets see, I'm almost loyal to a fault, I've been called 'steadfast' which I take to mean that I hold firm to my belief's in what's right. I'm empathetic, by that I mean I'm very good at standing in another persons shoes and see why and how they feel. I try very hard to be Kind to people and friends, I'm a firm believer in the golden rule and the three-fold rule. Last but not least I think that I am trustworthy once I give my word I rarely break it.
Five Negative Adjectives: So hard! Alright, I suppose I'm a bit to nieve and innocent now normally I wouldn't think that these two were negative but paired together, well one can't see danger when she needs to. I'm loud and abrasive sometimes, I would much prefer to be quiet and gentle but I tend to get very noisey and boustrous. I don't know why but I've always seen that as a negitive trait about myself. I have a temper that burns hot and quick, but once it cools I can get over it but I never ever forget what you did, I suppose that one goes hand in hand with judgemental. Lastly I am quiet cold and impersonal when I get nervous or around people I don't know. Which is quiet often actually, my first, second, and third impressions on people are generally 'those two, I get called 'Snobby' quiet often though I don't think that I am a snob. Just too proper.

Do you believe another Sign fits you better? Why?: Heaven's no! I love my sign, balance, artsy, romantic, I adore my sign.

Hobbies & Interests: I love to write, stories, poems all sorts of things. I also adore reading. And music! Live music, while I don't play anything I simply love going to shows and acoustic music. It's quiet lovely. History I also like history alot, not like, books of history, but stories from the older generations! I love sitting next to my Poppie and have him or my Grandmother tell me stories of when they were young. The internet and such is also very intresting to me!

What are your loves?: I suppose a better question would be what do you NOT love. Since I love so much. But I love family, art, music, hope, dreams, fae, imagination, musicals, princess, manners, movies, mermaids, fairies, disney movies.
What are your dislikes?: People who are being rude, unnessasary violence, people who are mean just to be mean. Aliens (I know silly but I've never liked them. They frighten me something terrible.) People who don't keep their promises. That's all I can think of right now...I'm' sure there's more I just can't think of them!

Season: Fall and spring. Fall first because I love the tender cold air and the smell of fallen leaves, then spring for the opposite reasons!
Animal: Actually I'm not all that fond of aminals. But I suppose a cat is good. One mind you, or oh birds. Blue birds and humming birds as long as their wild.
Scent: I love flowers but Lavender and Lilac are my favorites. They smell and this is weird, but so purple!
Gem/Stone: I'm really fond of black onyx and rubies and pearls and wel shiny things. I also like Jade very much too!
Musician: Ohhhh I don't know, I really like fem artists like Fiona Apple and Melissa Etheridge...so those are my two favorites after that Frank Sinatra has my heart
Film: I love Enchanted and Stardust, then I like movies like Blue Velvet and BamBoozled, and then things like Harvey which is a 1937 movie that's jsut too cute.
Novel: So many to choose from! One I can read again and again is Chasing Red Bird and the other is Johnathan Livingston Seagull
Holiday: Halloween is a huge favorite I love dressing up!!
Disney Film: Ohhh. When I was younger it was The Little Mermaid, but now it's I'm not sure either Beauty and the Beast or the newest one, Enchanted.

Describe your clothing style (be sure to include colors as well): Very well, earthy and hippie ish. I wear alot of greens and browns and then alot of purples. Sometimes I venture to red, but mostly I dress pretty earthy. Black is also a common color in my woredrobe. I dress in a few floor length skirts, and classy shirts. I adore my suit outfits, and my jeans and t-shirts. But generally people remember the skirts or the suits.
Describe your ideal environment or the place you feel most comfortable: I feel most comfortable at home, wth a good book. Out side of the house it's a book store. Or a place where I can hear live music. But deffiantly at home, where I can relax.
Do you believe you more of a leader, follower, or loner?: I believe I have qualities of all of these things in me. Should the need arise I could be a leader, however I follow alot more (as long as they're going where I want them too. I'm not some mindless sheep! Heehee) and then I'm a loner because I don't need to be part of the crowd or group.
What is one of your favorite childhood memories?: I have a couple, I love the memory where I was in fourth grade and played Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz, in a play at school. The kids all learned their lines from one scripts and did it with out the teachers help! The second would be when my Grandmother would sit me on her lap and read to me. Or when my marmie read to me.
Why do you love the world of Never Land?: I'm enchanted and always have been, by the idea of a place where one could stay young forever and never grow up. I love the movie's version of it, and the disney version, with mermaids and fairies and the Lost Boys and it just all makes me smile, plus it's one of my favorite books!

Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand

For those of you who don't know, a new sequel to Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg by Gail Carson Levine was released yesterday. It's called Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand. I read it today, and I thought it was terrific. ^_^

The Disney Fairies line has skyrocketed with its merchandise ever since the launch of its original novel, Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg. Since then, lots of shorter spin-off books have been released for young children to learn about Tinker Bell and the other fairies in Never Land. Finally, there is now another novel worthy of older readers' attention. For the first time since the original, Gail Carson Levine has returned to write and David Christiana has returned to illustrate another lovely hard-covered Disney Fairies novel, which, in my opinion, is even better than the first one.

A lot of the book focuses on Rani, my personal favorite of the Disney Fairies, who is a water talent fairy who gave up her wings in Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg so she could swim with the mermaids and obtain one of their beautiful combs in order to cast a spell that would save Pixie Hollow. However, the lovely green-haired mermaid named Soop would only agree to make such a bargain if Rani brought her a magic wand. Despite Rani's objection that the Never fairies don't use wands, Soop only agreed once the deal had been made. This minor detail was overlooked for the rest of that novel, leaving Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand to focus on it in its entirety.

The book is primarily an examination of greed and power, despite there not really being a major villain. All of the good fairies in Never Land wish to join the quest to obtain a wand from the "Great Wandies" so that they could use the wand to grant their own selfish wishes. None of the fairies want to hurt anyone, but all of them must struggle to fight "wand madness," a sort of psychological disease that causes them to want to use the wand more and more because of the great and powerful magic that it holds. It is this greed that causes all the problems in Never Land once the wand is obtained.

Even the mermaid Soop manages to only worsen things with her mer-friend Pah by using the wand to force her friend to apologize for an argument and then take advantage of her newfound power. The Never fairies must all band together to fight their greed and figure out what would be best for their friends and their home, even if it means losing the power to grant their fondest wishes.

The beautiful illustrations have improved since the previous novel and now contain some lovely close-ups of certain fairies' faces, mostly Beck, and an incredibly gorgeous underwater landscape of Rani swimming with the fishes. Even the wands are detailed and colorful. I found the pictures just as lovely to look at as the story was to read.

Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand is a terrific story with some very good moral values, and it is a must-have for any fan of the Disney Fairies line.
