I'm so sorry to all (threeish) of you who requested icons/graphics! I'm not going to lie, after a week I completely forgot. I made oh I don't know, all of one icon. I'm busy all Friday and Saturday but I'll do my best to get some done on Sunday :)

Ok, so usually I would make a post like this in my personal journal (and I'll probably make it there too...), but I want to reach as many people as possible with this since I need ideaaasss.

What type of things do you guys do at school or whatever for fundraising, specifically for clubs? My school's Brain Bowl team is looking to increase our pathetic (and figurative) bank account. And being moreso the nerdy types rather than the creative, we are kind of lacking fundraising ideas beyond the typical car wash or bake sale.

So... any ideas? Anything that has worked for you would be great.

I need some inspiration/material to work with. Just leave a comment if you are interested in getting a few interest icons made for you. No need to provide any pictures, I'll do my best to find ones of whatever interests of yours I choose. I'm not going to put a set limit on how many people I'll take, because then I'll just feel bad for myself if not even that many people reply. I'll let you know when I've had enough :)

Anyway, uh, so I haven't been posting that often. Icon making doesn't quite have the same allure. It's all about supply and demand. There are more and more people making icons these days, so there's less of a demand for icons, specifically mine. This paired with my losing interest in the subjects who's icons got me the fans I do have (Fall Out Boy, Jake Gyllenhaal, etc.) and subsequently making less icons of them, I don't get as many comments as I used to. And I hate to be one of those people who bitch and moan about not getting comments, but I guess they are a fair bit of my motivation. I kind of get a rush reading them, even if it's just a bunch like "taking 4 and 9, thanks". So yeah. Whatever. Just felt like I wanted to get that out there.

Do any of you guys watch The Office?
Would anyone be interested if I made icons from it?

oh and sorry about being a tease about those new icons. I keep forgetting. and I've actually been doing stuff lately too. clay sculpture classes, getting my volunteer hours, etc.

I've been having some fun iconning again, I came across these really nice textures somewhere, by brasaremean , I think, and they really gave me some inspiration.

Let me know if you guys like this style anymore than the typical cropped&colored icon. Theses take a little more work, but I really like them

Ok, this is the first time I've been inspired to make icons in a while and have actually enjoyed it. That is without a doubt due to my burning passionate love for Max Bemis. So - 24 icons of him.
