| About: | Stories in all their myriad forms—novels or plays, songs or movies, comic books or poetry, "real" or fictional—are my passion, or to paraphrase Donna Boyd's character Alexander Devoncroix, "my dearest treasure and truest friend." As far back as I can remember, I've always loved reading and writing. (Even editing, if you can believe it.) Taylor is my online pseudonym of choice. If you actually need proper identification for copyright or citation reasons (e.g., you want to quote/publish my work, etc.), contact me. I've had various writing journals for a while, but this will (hopefully) be a comprehensive one, including everything from fanfiction to academia. It'll take a while, and I'm sure I'll get thrown off track, but that's the way things go. Access: Excluding fanfiction, all of the work here is original. Thus, access to it is limited to those I trust. If you're interested in reading, contact me, but I won't guarantee that I'll give you access. Nota bene: Feedback is lovely. So is constructive criticism, but it must be exactly that: CONSTRUCTIVE. I don't care if you think my writing sucks (well, I do, but I realize that everyone has different tastes and opinions and that I cannot write something that everyone in the world will enjoy), but if you're taking the time to comment, make it worth your while AND mine. "It's boring" isn't helpful; "It's boring. The dialogue drags on and the pace is too slow for the action" at least tells me what you think the problem is. Content warning: This journal will include writings of an "adult nature". Writing with such elements will be clearly labelled (and friend-locked, as all posts here are). If you choose to read it, you have been warned and I'm not responsible for you.
