Welcome to Pirates Anonymous, a community designed to bring together fans of PotC or pirates in general. Discuss pirates, past and present. Talk about pirate cosplay and events, pirate history, and pirate movies. Feel free to plug fanfiction, websites, RPGs, or other cool finds. As long as it's respectful and it relates to pirates, it's welcome at Pirate's Anonymous.
The Code
Please follow the code at all times. Pirate's who do not follow the code with be banned from the ship, if you catch my drift. This community is currently unmoderated, and I would hate to have to change that.
One: Don't post anything that is in violation of the Livejournal TOS. We don't want this community to be suspended.
Two: LJ TOS aside, just be respectful! While this is a community dedicated to pirates (XP), it is also a place to have fun, not to cause fights.
Three: Nothing that is terribly off topic. If you aren't sure whether or not what you want to post is off topic, the general rule of thumb is that if it is about pirates in any way, shape, or form then it is perfectly fine. Occasional off topic posting, however, is allowed in certain cases. (example: you are going to be out of town and want the rest of the community to know)
Four: If you have a LJ, please log in before posting a comment. This makes things a lot less confusing. If you don't have a LJ, anonymous posting is enabled, but we reserve the right to delete any anonymous comments for any reason we see fit.
Five: If you feel that a fellow pirate is violating the code, we would prefer that you take it up with the people in charge. (listed below) We'd be happy to handle it, lest it become bloody.

On the flip side, they are also the people with the power to ban members. So if you get a warning from either of them, head it.
