I just recently got pink tips and I was overjoyed- until I realized the hairstylist has used manic panic ;_;. So now I need to re-pink my tips, but I'm not quite sure how I would go about doing that... >_>;
What the lady had done was that she just bleached my tips and slathered the dye all over my hair (thankfully she put conditioner on my roots haha) and the pink only stuck to the bleached parts, but I don't know if SFX cupcake pink will do the same.
Would it only stick to my bleached hairs, or would it give the rest of my dark brown hair a pinkish tint? Any other ways I can re-pink my poor, faded hair? TT.TT;

So, back in August-November I had all pink hair. Then I got a job, and dyed it back to black. Just today, I put in some highlights. The blonde in my bangs is gonna stay because I'm pretty sure Hallmark won't allow unnatural hair colors. Thankfully, though, I decided to dye some pink streaks in a place I could easily hide it at work. I've really missed having pink in my hair.

Hello, I'm new. I love all the pictures! They are amazing! I have booked my hair appointment at a salon to go pink at the beginning of August, I would do it myself but I've never bleached my hair so I would hate for it to go wrong. I'm going for neon pink. :D
I have a specific question, was anyone here scared before they radically changed hair colour for the first time? I really want pink hair because is the colour of awesomeness and it *really* suits me but I worry about attracting attention. This is in part because I am overweight, dying my hair pink is sort of my reward for losing lots of weight since joining my eating disorder group but I still worry about being a larger lady with bright pink hair. Did anyone here worry before they went pink?

Hey guys!
I dyed my hair (after I bleached it) last night with Cupcake Pink from SFX
However, it's not exactly the shade I am looking for.

I'm looking for a shade a bit more like this (less purpleish):

Can someone help me fix this? Originally I was just going to pick up some blonde hair dye and leave it on for a tiny bit to make it a little less "shocking". Now I'm thinking strawberry blonde shade?? Please let me know what I can do, I basically just don't want such a purple/fuchsia tone (i need it fixed by tomorrow).
(I've also washed with dish soap a few times to try to lighten it, with no much luck

If I hadnt run out of bleach, I was tempted to do ALL my hair...

in the city around fillmore and geary there's a safeway shopping center that has a discount beauty store in it. they carry the full line of special effects hairdye. $11.99 a bottle.

I went to Portus this weekend, and looking through various photostreams being uploaded to flickr, I stumbled across this awesome picture of the back of my head:
The short, pink haired girl in the background is my friend Nikki, but she's wearing a wig. ;) She still looked awesome in pink hair!

I finally re-pinked my chunks, where my roots had grown at least 5 inches and here are the results...
i was pretty happy with how it turned out. she actually bleached alot more than what i had before. so i left the salon with a happy face not only because i got my pink back, but after seeing what i had, EVERYONE who was in the salon was asking about Special Effects hair dye. They said they were going to order all kinds of colors and the stylist that worked on me was going to try Hi Octane/Napalm Orange on her hair :D

Black!! Underneath all of it. I've wanted this forever and my hair is just now long enough. My hair was still wet and my camera sucks so the color really doesn't show. It's still the same color as my userpic.

My sister ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) nicky_disaster repinked my hair for me this morning, I decided not to dilute it this time and, of course, it came out a lot pinker than last time.
I think I like it!
I used Schwarzkopf's Igora Action Paint but I put Live Colour Platinum Blonde on first so it was light enough. I thought about bleaching it but got scared and the platinum seemed to lighten it enough anyway.

But after going from black to blonde then to Atomic Pink again my hairs kind of damaged D:
Does anyone know some cheapish hair repairing conditioner or whatever? Especially for fine hair.

So I ran out of pink hair dye and I dyed it orange and red (like in my icon) for a few months. Two ays ago I added a ton of black to it for change... I don't really like it with my skin tone because it's just too overpowering.
If I use a color remover will that work?
If you have a pink and brown hair combination will you hsow me some of your photos?
I'm going to try to remove the current color with color remover and use a placenta pak or something loaded with nutrients and deep condtion. I just bought some Bed Head mega nutrient shampoo but I don't think it really works any better than other sutff. Once I do all of this thought I am going to buy some atomic pink offline and add that.

I've been lurking here a while so thought it was time to post up my pinkness.
I used cheap old La Riche Directions Carnation Pink and Rose Red.
These pictures were taken this afternoon with freshly dyed hair.
I'm getting extensions next week in a huge variety of pinks so I'm looking forward to posting photos once it's all done! =D
