[Roundtable] Betrothed by Voice

Raid asks, and I answer. In his latest entry, he makes a compelling argument for the three singers he would marry based purely on voice. After explaining his choices comes this little nugget of why I love the blogosphere: "That said, I'd love to see some other bloggers' own views on the matter. ... Who would you guys marry based purely on voice?

Keep in mind, I am aching from head to toe, I really should just go to bed, but as blogging is something that gives me an intense rush of joy, I had to crank this one out. Raid, man, I just can't resist a direct address.

The answers may surprise you! Or maybe not. Depends on how well you know me... )

...now I'm so tired it's not even funny. But, there you have it, Raid! And anyone else who might care.
It's been established that I love and adore H!P, Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi, and Namie Amuro. Hikki, BoA, Otsuka Ai, AAA, and the rest of the usual have snuck in here and there. But I have a trick or treat up my sleeves, Pink Wota readers, and it's all for you (unintentional Namie Amuro reference).

So what do I really spend all those YesAsia and eBay dollars on? Over which artists' albums do I labor for translations and break my brain with a 3rd-year Japanese textbook when I find none? You're about to find out.

The answers may be spooky! And of course, this being Pink Wota, and BOYS BOYS BOYS being largely unallowed, I'm not going to mention the oodles of Bump of Chicken, Super Junior, Bump of Chicken, Arashi, Bump of Chicken, Kato Kazuki, and Bump of Chicken that's contributing to my swollen external hard drive. Thank you very much. Maybe on White Day 2008 I'll switch things up and momentarily open the doors for Bump of chicken Male Idol Worship.

But until then...PREPARE!!! >8D (that's...the evil Vee face)

BOO! )

Maybe you learned something. Maybe you didn't. Maybe these gals are all old news to you. In which case, be my friend? :D

Seriously, though. I'm glad I got to show you all with this post that I am not, necesarrily, all about glitter eye-makeup and choreographed dance routines. Though I'd be lying if I said the latter weren't still one of my favorite things about Japanese pop music.

Plus, you got free stuff to download!

HAPPY EARLY HALLOWEEN!
