Ru's being worked like a dog and I'm finally getting foothold on a new job. Besides, fandom keeps me workin' hard for the money, what can I say? But I have noticed the new interest in Pink Wota, thanks in NO small part to Ray Mescallado's (YES) Googling adventures leading him right to us.
I would like to take this opportunity to say two things to those who have been led here from International Wota:
1) You're good people. I wouldn't still visit the site if I didn't know that.
2) Far be it from me, a gal who's into some pretty crazy shit, to ever denounce someone for being on the fringe. Especially when the fringe is essentially catered to in the form of a multi-million dollar industry. So, in deference to any verbal fisticuffs with the U15 wota out there, I will reserve my right to be a feminist who has made a semi-career out of seeking out homosexual overtones in military history, and you can keep your lust for Berryz Koubou et al.
However, this is, in some nutty-nut way, a feminist blog. I made it for the ladies, by the ladies, of the ladies. Which isn't to say we don't have our base of male members. Gun asked permission to join (what?), and Ruben probably would have followed the trail here anyway. I don't claim to be fair and balanced, I just want to present a side of the J-Pop fandom that is underwhelmingly overlooked, or maybe just quiet.
Also, I'll probably be girl-gasming on my own quite enough, thanks. So, you know, peace and all that. We're just starting out, but already I know I'll be the shit-stirrer. Ru and Kirie are just here for the good times. At least for now. *cue evil laughter*
With that said, I'd really like to say I'll finally have my Ayumi Hamasaki tour de force up soon, but that would be placing myself in an impossible bind, considering that I don't even know where work is going to drag me in the coming week.
So, Ray, my intention wasn't to kick you in the nuts, but either way, I'm flattered! For what it's worth, I think Ayappe was and is incredibly sexy beyond belief as well.

kinenbi, now would be a really awesome time to blog about something!
