Namie Amuro
There is no denying that this young woman is very pretty. From her sparkling eyes, to her wonderful face shape, how could i not put her on this list? I've never been one who listened to hip-hop, but I do like her music. She has a very unique voice, she stands out and catches my... ear. Anyways, since her single "The Speed Star/Girl Talk" came out I have been a devoted Namie fan. I'll be honest, I don't know all that much about her as a person. I know she has a great voice, and I know she's pretty. The picture I chose to show her off is one of my favorites of her ever. I haven't spoken to a single person who didn't think she was just lovely. Even my non-jmusic loving friends like her, which is a huge nod to just how cool she is. 


Park Shin Hye
This picture does not do this girl justice. At all. But, it happens to be the only picture I have of her so... yeah. Park is a Korean actress. She is the star of one of my favorite dramas of all time "Tree of Heaven" where she plays Hana. I fell in love with her smile after the first episode. She is one of the few actresses who I can really say, is amazing and not be biased. When she crys, I cry. When she smiles, I smile. For some reason what she brings to the screen is... what's the word... honest. She doesn't seem to really be acting. Her grace and honesty is why she belongs on this list. Just look at that smile? How can you not love her?


Rika Ishikawa
First off, expect to see a decent amount of H!P girls on this list. 
Rika is my second favorite H!P member, the first being Yossie. Rika never looks bad, even when she's making silly faces or the like. Her beauty (that's right, I said beauty not cuteness) never falters. It's so Rika. Her eyes are my favorite Rika feature, she has some of the prettiest eyes in H!P. Also, am I wrong or are her lips not some of the best lips ever? I'm so jealous of Rika's looks it's not even funny. Short hair, long hair, mid-length hair...whatever. She looks great. All the time. No matter what. It doesn't hurt that she has a freakin' adorable voice either. V-u-den is my third favorite H!P group. Case and point: Rika is never far from the top of my lists.


Ariel Lin
Another drama star, this time from my second favorite drama "It Started with a Kiss". At first she may look like nothing special, but upon closer inspection you'll start to see how lovely she really is. I mean, when I first saw her I thought she looked like a potatoe. Boy was I wrong. After watching x number of episodes I started to really admire her simple beauty. I mean, look at her full pouty lips! That look doesn't work for everyone, and she really pulls it off. Also, her eyes are rather darling aren't they? She just looks so loveable that after a while, I'm sure you too will be inspired by Ariel.


Yoshizawa Hitomi
Anyone who knows me will tell you how big of a Yossie fan I am. I practically WHORSHIP this girl. She is everything I want to be. In my biased opinion she is the epitome. No female jpop star could ever knock her off her rightful place in my heart. LOOK AT THAT FACE! Do you not see that heartbreaking beauty?! No matter her hair cut, no matter the horrible outfit they make her wear... she can pull anything off. When they announced her gaduation, I died alot inside. It was like a nightmare, Yossie was the best leader of MM. She has strength, and a warm openess that could have helped welcome the 8th Gen. Even though she got to spend some time with Aika, still made me sad. But now, she's in Gatas and she's back with Rika/Konkon. So I'm okay for now.


Leah Dizon
O where to start with Leah? She's gorgeous, that's for sure. She looks like the worlds largest china doll or asian Barbie. Seriously. Love her or hate her, she's still hot. She has killer eyes, they blow me away. Anime-loving girls everywhere wish they had her eyes so they could look like their favorite character. She's got an okay voice too, certainly not my fav but she's not horrible or anything. Yeah she's a gravure model. Who cares? If you had her body would you wanna show it off?


Ayumi Hamasaki
Here she is folks. You knew she was gonna be on here one way or another. The Queen of Jpop. AYU. The greatest example of success in Jpop. She is the artist that started it all for me. I didn't have a clue about Jpop until I heard "A song for XX" on someones random blog. When I looked her up, I was stunned by the lovely girl the pictures showed. I was an instant fan of her from that day on. She like many others on this list, always looks good. I like her with any kind of style (though her short hair is <3). This is one of my favorite pictures of her. The smile her face is so vivid and happy. I don't care about plastic sugery (rumor or truth). I really don't. People who diss her are just jealous that she's got everything they haven't. Step off Ayu-haters. The Queen is still on top.


Maki Goto
I told some H!P girls would keep showing up. But really, how could I not put Maki? Despite her weird nose, she remains as one of the artists I've made the most icons of. And I make ALOT of icons. So. Yeah. I have to say, her PBs are always the most highly anticipated for me (I've long since given up on Yossie getting another). She takes one heck of a photo. Foxy Fungo was the shiz. Plain and simple. While her latest look hasn't been up to her usual mind blowing hottness, she still looks good. I must say, I really really want her top in this picture.
 

Tata Young
If you know me, then chances are you've heard me talk about this beauty from Thailand. I am a huge Tata fan. Her english songs are perfect, no accent at all. And her Thai songs...wow..they are really something else. I've always thought that she needs more fans, most people have heard her most famous song "Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy". Great song. Tata has a great smile if nothing else, also, her hair is pretty amazing too. Give her a shot, her looks aren't all she has going for her.


Takahashi Ai
Alright, I realize that some people don't like her. You know what? I don't care, cause I do. I think she's amazingly beautiful and no one can change that. As the new leader for MM, I think she deserves some credit. She's pretty, she's talented, and she seems like such a nice person. No one should dislike her really. But whatever, think what you will. But look at that picture before you call her Troll again, okay? At least only call her Troll in fun. Such a lovely face, resembles nothing to a troll. Her PBs are some of the prettiest in H!P and/or least boring.


Abe Natsumi
Another H!P girl for you. Abe is one of those classic beauty type girls. She's not mind blowing, she's not sexy. She just gives off this radiant warm, like the sun. She has one of the most sincere smiles that goes right up to her eyes. A real smile if you know what I mean. She's the H!P sweetheart and she has certainly earned it. By default when you think H!P two things come to mind: MM & Abe Natsumi. She has such a strong personality that she just keeps getting better as time goes on. I really love her with long hair, when it frames her face and is all wavy. Yeah, that's my favorite Nacchi look. <3 


Yoshiko Suenaga
Okay, so I know the title says "stars". But I just had to put Yoshiko and I'll explain why. Don't know who she is? Not surprising. She's a seventeen year old junior idol. I KNOW I KNOW. What's this? Pink Wota is posting about a junior idol?! Yeah, yeah get over it. Look at her face! She's so adorable it's like jsbdkjaerpgmldyhuakjgdbjs. Get it? She's like Leah Dizon's little sister or something. They both look like life size china dolls. I think it's pretty great to tell the truth. I feel like I've broken some sort of code by putting her here but I can't help it. She IS pretty. 


Utada Hikaru
Ah yes. I bet you were wondering when she'd show up. I've always that Utada had a real classic beauty. Her eyes seem to contain a lot of soul and depth which isn't something you see alot these days. Her voice is really something too, most people only like her because of KH but PSSHHH. Her work before that was splendid. I remember when I got excited cause I saw her first album in over in china town. Too bad I didn't have any money. 


BoA
Okay, I love BoA. I know lots of people are iffy about her because of her diva rep, but I really don't care. In my opinion, when you've worked as hard as BoA has... you're allowed to be a diva. Ayu may have been my first Jpop love but BoA's was the Jpop purchase. I remember it was like right after Best of Soul was released and I saw it in china town, I had money then, so I bought it. I had really wanted it but I hate over seas shipping like no other. I think BoA is that schoolgirl pretty. She still looks so young an sweet. 


Yukari Goto
Aa! My favorite AAA member makes an appearance. Ever since I saw AAA in that magezine... Yukari caught my eye. It was the promo pic for Dragon Fire if I remember correctly. Her outfit was my favorite, and she had such a winning face. Her look was different from any other Jpop stars I'd ever seen. She has this... steely edge about her. A "don't mess with me" air if you will, but even so, she still retains that sweet look I love her for. O Yukari, I miss you're voice in AAA. 


Chiaki Ito
Another AAA girl! Chiaki is one of the cutest girls I've ever seen. Really. I mean...her eyes..WOW. She also has a innocent look that makes her so loveable to her fans. Icy (who has met her) is her biggest fan ever, and you can't blame her. Chiaki has a surprising voice for someone so cute looking. She has a very nice mellow/low voice where you'd expect it to be high-pitched and squeaky. Now, I'll say I'm sorry to all Misako fans. She's not gonna be on the list, only because I don't want all three AAA girls on the list. Not that Misako isn't darling.


Sifow
Sifow is one of those underated beauties. She doesn't get teh credit she deserves for rising to such a high point AND being a gyaru. Now I am a HUGE fan of the gyaru style. I fell love with it through Sifow. Her music is amazing, even my non jpop loving friends like her technoy sound. Carat is the most popular among them. She represents a somewhat looked down upon style and I'm proud of her. She is so lovely, don't you think?


Rainie Yang
Congrats to Rainie for being the second Chinese/Taiwanese star on the list! I first saw Rainie in Devil Beside You. I love the show and I had to have more. So I watched Why Why Love. And then I got into her music. Suffice it to say, I'm a Rainie fan all around. She's so so adorable and such a talented actress. Her hair is... a masterpiece. I want her hair. Anyways, I don't like Cpop, but I like Rainie so I through her I hope to come to love Cpop as well.


Eri Kamei
Ines-chan this is for you! <3 ERI IS A BEAUTY, AM I WRONG? No? Didn't think so. I mean...you've all seen Maple right? Good, then you  know what I mean. Not that it took Maple to make me see that but it certainly helped. Eri has got to be one of the most down to earth MM girl. She's so calm and then sometimes she can be so crazy! And her drawings are priceless. She's a got a priceless smile that you can't help but smile back at.


Risa Niigaki
Is is me or does Risa not look completely asian? She kinda looks like one fo my friends who has no asian blood. It's pretty funny, because some people competely disagree with me. Whatever. The point is, she's gorgeous. She's grown up so much since her pigtails days (and I pray I may never see her in those horrid pigtails again). Watching her grow through MM is really something. Watching old and new PVs you really get to see how much she's changed. I really love her voice and fully support her as sub-leader!
