I bet Mona Hovis will be there! You guys HAVE to hang up the Hobart Gazette article in the lobby!!!! I still have a copy if you guys don't.
I wish I could make it to your show too (Sue, of "Jack and Sue", incase you guys are wondering). I'd be there but we are getting ready for Jack to come home from his second tour in Iraq. Crazy huh? He's been gone a whole year. I'm convinced now the he is all about dressing up...from Frank to the Navy. Those of you who know him well--you know I'm totally right!
So, I'm catching up with everything on LJ. Did they really tear down Crossroads? What memories those walls held...it is really hard describe, isn't it? I'm in such denial about it being really *gone*.
I have some trivia! Who knew that when I first started dating Ryan I worked at Dairy Queen in Hobart? Scott Frey was my boss and you know what? One night, I was at Lowes all night at Rocky and missed work the next day and HE FIRED ME! Now he has the theater that does Rocky? Crazy. I swear he made fun of me for being in Rocky when I worked at DQ. Who is on the pic of Frank?? Is that his brother? It looks like it.

This is not a rumor. This is not a hoax. This is not a drill! The Art Theatre in Hobart, Indiana is going to run Rocky Horror very soon! I need your help. If you want to perform in the cast, want to help build props, want to help make survival kits, or just want to help fund any of this wacky crap, send me a message. I don’t have a date set, yet. Rocky Horror will be returning to NW Indiana in the near future. The Art Theatre in Hobart, Indiana will be it's new home. The Art is a fantastic old movie house dating back to the 40's, I believe. No start date yet. The owner is still checking on print availability. However, watch this space for more info.

A group of us went to ee midnight madness's show at the musicbox in chicago last night.
After not having seen rocky in almost 2 years it was almost like seeing it new again for the first time.
many people loved our old AP lol.
We hope to do it again sometime. Ir was fester, me, kevin, holly, max, ed, and pete. it was awsome. being that i am still tired after having not gotten home till after 4 i shall fill you in on more later.

They did it. The Crossroads Cinema has returned to the rubble from whence it came. This is not hearsay. I've seen it with my own two eyes. There is a silver lining to this otherwise dark cloud, though. At least now I don't have to play bad cop and squash any more rumors about some mysterious benefactor re-opening the theatre and putting on Rocky.

I've heard a rumor that someone bought/is buying the theatre and plans to bring back "Rocky Horror Picture Show" there. I heard it from a girl who I trust, but I don't know who her source was. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Ed is trying to find former Pink Invaders on My Space. I thought it couldn't hurt to post here.

1. a former Pink Invader?
2. looking for something to do on Halloween night?
3. In the greater Chicagoland area?
If you answered yes to all three, a friend of mine is trying to put a show together for Halloween night. It's kind-of a last minute deal. She needs performers. If you're interested, shoot me a message and tell me what part or parts you can perform (and have a costume for) and we'll go from there.

It's been close to six months since the end of the world. I've lost touch with about seventy-five percent of the people I swore I wouldn't lose touch with. I still work at a job I hate most Saturdays and periodically get to see Rocky Horror in faraway lands like Illinois. What have you all been up to?
