I took high definition video and long shutter photos at the July 4th fireworks celebration at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, TX last night and I thought I'd share:

This is not a picture of Austin. However, I was in Austin taking a picture of Not Austin.

Taken under Parmer Lane, near where the previous photo was taken.

I need to get a scanner to scan some more of my stuff (yes, I still use film).

My father said that we might be getting a brand new camera. We currently have an Olympus D-380 as seen here and we want something smaller, more of an upgrade. But I really don't want something with much of a delay since I do action photography (and my parents like to take pictures of events and such) and of course high quality for ... maybe under 300 dollars?

Any suggestions would be helpful!
