5th Pick #16 - I like the cropping and how Reita's eyes are cut off so the focus is his nose band and mouth
4th Pick #27 - I love the black and white affect with the orange.
3rd Pick #23 - I love the cropping and the thought bubble.
2nd pick #13 - Ruki :D I love the bar over his eyes and the circle texture.
1st Pick #6 - I love the coloring and the cropping. The small light textures are anice affect.

Pick my Best?

5th Pick: #36
The red color fits so much to black and white and tiny texts give the icon a magazine paper look

4th Pick: #2
Cyan stars(or flowers,I can't tell but it doesn't matter) made the icon shine also with small light textures.the reverse tiny text looks great.

3rd Pick: #7
The white image is so perfect and fits the sentence on icon.A simple and strong effect.

2nd Pick: #22
The cropping and the coloring are so amazing and the blurring effect on the texture makes the texture look like a part of the original image.

1st Pick: #20
All the textures on the icon just look great and falling letters have taken my breath away when I first saw the icon.

Good luck sweety :D

5th Pick: #39
the crop is so gorgeous and the colours really enhance the tone set by the image and text.
4th Pick: #12
i love the sheer simplicity. the colours use in combination with the blurred effect is perfectly done.
3rd Pick: #38
the composition, typography, texture and brush-use really reflect your iconning-style.
2nd Pick: #06
neutral and muted colouring gives this icon a very angelic tone. creative interpretation of the original image.
1st Pick: #08
i usually don't like center-based crops, but this icon really pulls it off with blurred circle effect.
colouring is gorgeous and light textures are used perfectly.

5th Pick: #36 It looks like a CD jacket with lyrics, or a newspaper article. Very awesome style.
4th Pick: #06 The color of the icon along with the wings that don't look like they're part of the picture really make this icon stand out. From the first time I saw it when I opened the post to now, it still catches my eye.
3rd Pick: #03 I saw your tutorial on this one and knowing everything that went into it and how good it turned out, I have to say I really really love this icon.
2nd Pick: #09 I love the color, the cropping is awesome, and the text really stands out and gives you a certain kind of emotion when you're looking at it.
1st Pick: #20 That text animation is KILLER.

5th Pick: #07
this sort of sin city-esque b&w shadow technique is done realllly well, and the caption is original and interesting. (where is it from?)

4th Pick: #06
like many others have said, this icon is VERY eyecatching &really well done. i think it would be even better without the solar flares, though, as they are slightly distracting.

3rd Pick: #18
the simplicity of this icon makes it stand out. the fact that you can create depth with a b&w (really, grey) icon is admirable. the caption fits perfectly, too.

2nd Pick: #20
XD you know i love this icon. the block colouring is something i think is really original and fits the icon, and your animation skills are very eye-catching. :3

1st Pick: #02
your use of a combination of textures is simply gorgeous, and the pale blue colouring really complements the image well. there is such a softness to this icon and it immediately stands out as a fantastic example of your skills.

5th Pick: #38 The text and the way the subjects are set up are really creative. While I would have maybe liked the text to be a bit more separated and the coloring to be a little different, this is a lovely icon.
4th Pick: #36 While I must admit that I've never seen this style out of you before, I think you pulled it off well. The splash of color is interesting and draws the focus in. The way you did the text is spiffy too, though I think the tinytext could have been more organized (as in maybe a single column instead of two or two justified columns instead of left aligned ones).
3rd Pick: #27 A great crop and a great use of coloring. You didn't have to drown out the icon in a bright color to make it pop and that's awesome.
2nd Pick: #06 I love the ambiance here. The coloring, the use of light textures and the way you cropped Rukia makes it look like the icon is a room and she's just chilling out there. Very pretty.
1st Pick: #01 Gorgeous crop, gorgeous colors, lovely text placement. This one really has it all. ;)

4th Pick: #02 Beautiful colors and cropping, gorgeous use of texture and tiny text.

3rd Pick: #06 Beautiful interpretation, great use of texture and icon elements.

2nd Pick: #21 The concept is great, as is the cropping. the texture use is perfect... embellishing the icon without overdoing it.

1st Pick: #20 The concept, layout, and execution are superb. The text is amazing, too... great job on that animation.

5th Pick: #29 The bright colours and the feel for it makes you get all warm and fuzzy inside but yet its not overly standoutish with the text fitting into the picture perfectly.
4th Pick: #19 I am drawn to this one, the overall colour and the small text so its noticeable but doesn't draw away the attention works well.
3rd Pick: #32 The two colours on the monotone background really draw the attention to it, its not overly joy but yet you still sense some to it.
2nd Pick: #20 This one is love you think it looks perfect until the text falls really elemental to the text.
1st Pick: #39 You captured the emotion in this perfectly with the colours and the cropping of the picture.

5th Pick: #1 and 7
I couldn't decide b/t the two. I think they struck me b/c they're so close to my state of mind. The white figure against the black in 7 is visually really striking and universalized. It could be anyone--even the gender isn't specific (as far as I can see). The water spread has such sharp points it could be flames. In 1, it's interesting that it's all muted but her hair. But the composition and the text just hit home.

4th Pick: #25
Well, natch, the way the scar stands out against the muted colors of both the background and Harry's face. I find this actually really interesting. On the one hand we see what people see when they look at Harry--they don't see his whole face, whether he's smiling or sad or grim. People just notice the scar. But you made his eyes really bright; and it made me think of him looking out at everyone else, really seeing them and wanting to be seen as a whole person.

3rd Pick: #16
You're just really excellent at tying all the elements together. In this case the cropping and composition, the color, the way the blindfold takes away her identity, but her lips express it at the same time. (If this is from something, I don't know what it is, so again, just reacting to the image.)

2nd Pick: #26
I have to admit I know very very little about anime and manga, so I'm reacting to pure aesthetics. The composition is perfect w/ the girl all the way on the side. The top bar looks (to me) like really elaborate wallpaper--kind of Baroque. And the bar with the stripes and the black circles and the text is visually really stunning. With all the different elements, I keep looking at it, trying to suss it out. And I don't know if the original is b&w, but the icon had to be for the whole effect.

1st Pick: #20
It's so powerful! The animation is heartstopping, even as I keep looking at the icon. It contrasts so well with the symmetry of the composition that it's shocking every time. The muted colors are just right as is the bar at the bottom of the screen. It really hits me.
