5th Pick: #16
The colours are perfect, I think, as is the composition of the icon; repeating the same picture can be redundant, but it compliments, in this case. The texture, however - I believe that was the main part why this is my fifth instead of my fourth pick!

4th Pick: #12
The idea of a torn picture comes to mind at seeing this icon. I'm not sure if that was your idea, originally, but I like it, because the textures are placed just right. I'm not sure about the red light effect at the bottom, though.

3rd Pick: #15
The colouring is pretty! The small text and the symbol (it might be a letter, it's a bit hard to distinguish) do justice to its simplicity, I think.

2nd Pick: #11
The contrast between the colourless and the colour is just right; I think that by choosing to leave those parts of the flag coloured, you made the right decision.

1st Pick: #08
The black-white part of this icon makes the light texture stand out even more, complimenting the cropping and the text perfectly.

The crop is very good, it brings out his eye, which you brought out even more by coloring it.

Pick 4: 03
I really like the rectangular colored inset.

Pick 3: 17
The crop is wonderful, and I like how the only color is that orange strip. The plant-type brush is neat too.

Pick 2: 19
Loving the crop, but the coloring is amazing.

Pick 1: 25
It took a moment for me to see the alternating colors, it's wonderful. I loved the crop to begin with, but that was the final thing.

5th: #06. For the crop work and the colours. It looks lovely.
4th: #17. For the crop work and the use of textures.
3rd: #05. For the way it's black and white and then the little flash of colour, and also the way you've made the two of them fit together, so to speak.
2nd: #12. For the way it looks like a torn photography, and the asymmetry of it.
1st: #08. I love the use of the flare texture. It's like he's floating in a ball of glow.
