There will be women's practices on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 8-10pm at Diablo during the first 3 weeks of December and in January. All women of all levels are welcome! Practices are a great way for beginners or league-only women to improve their skills. |

| Many of you are aware that Phoenix has a smokin' hot Women's team. I am sure that you all have been looking for a way to support your local ladies, so here is your chance! There is a certain someone who for the past year, has been cultivating a Mohawk on top of his head. Some call him Tricky, we call him Coach. You are probably wondering how long is he going to let it get? Well the time has finally come... to shave the "hawk". This is the part where you come in... The infamous Mohawk will be sacrificed at league finals on Sat. November, 22 sometime during halftime. The opportunity of a lifetime (rights to shave said Mohawk) will go to the lucky raffle winner, drawn that day. Where do I sign up? Tickets can be purchased at any time -the best time would be at a league game on Tuesday or Thursday - from any member of PHX-ation. Ticket prices are $5 each, 3 for $12 or 5 for $20. Tickets will also be available at league finals. There is no limit to the number of tickets one can purchase. 100% proceeds of this fund-raiser will benefit PHX-ation. Thank you all for your support! Women's Summer League Beginners Welcome! This is a four week league, running Wednesday nights at 8pm from July 9th - July 30th. Women of all play levels are encouraged to participate! Bring cleats, red and white shirts. Water would be a good idea too. Where: SRC Fields, ASU Tempe Campus, next to the SRC 400 E. Hey all. Circle your calendars. March 30th, local tournament against Arizona teams. Thanks Pauline for putting this together! May 3-4: Daweena: Salt Lake City. We are going. Make sure you set aside that weekend for the tournament. I don't want to hear anything about double booking. This is 2 months ahead. Jamie is putting together cost options for flights, car rentals, hotels. Genevieve and Jamie are working together to come up with more tournaments. Thanks you two for doing so! Practices, starting Mar 12th, are at CAP Basin fields in Scottsdale, 8-10. I know for some it is a bit far, but it is important that you still show up for practices. Tricky |
