AboutThis community is about Vancouver and BC. Vancouver as we see it every day, driving through it, walking around at nights, and standing on a bus stop.
You're free to post your pictures of Vancouver and BC for everybody to see and tell the world how beautiful and special this city is. And yes, it is pretty and special. We all live in different parts of Van-city and see it in different ways, so let's share our views.
- Probably a good idea not to post any personal pictures (" - Hey, this is me and my special lady in her basement playing D&D!"*). But by all means post something with Vancouver or BC on background. Just remember - this community is about Vancouver. Not your personal life.
- Even a better idea to post location and time. Some people might want to go there.
- Need advice before buying a camera? Looking for a good deal on film? Post it.
- Another good idea is to limit your pictures to 800 pixels and 100 kb, since not everybody has a fancy cable modem. If your picture is bigger than that - use LJ-cut.
- Spread the word about this community. We want more pictures here, don't we?
