Changmin smiles (you smile as it reaches his eyes), quirks his head to the side as he laughs and closes his eyes. He tosses his head, trying to get the hair from his face, but it’s a useless gesture and the hair quickly bounces back into the same spot it was before.  

You’re staring, you’re aware of it, but you can’t help it. You want to sit behind him and casually run your hands through his hair, reveling in the softness of the locks, while he protests but doesn’t really move out from under you.

In your mind, you think of the other things you want to do. You want to kiss him, kiss him until you’re both out of breath and left gasping. You want his hands to wrap around your waist and bring the two of you so close that the beatings of your hearts are in perfect synchronization. You want to breathe the air he breathes (exchanging passion, exchanging, breath, exchanging love), closing your eyes at the serenity, and clasp his hand until you can barely tell whose finger belongs to whom. You want to be with him when you pass something beautiful, he would laugh at you because you’re queer like that. You want to be standing still, talking to friends, only for him to put his arms around your shoulders, claiming you as his own in front of the rest of the world, and have him rest his chin on your head and glare at the others when they laugh at the two of you.

But. Rejection’s a bitch and something that you’ve had months to get over, but it’s still bubbling at the bottom of your heart. He still smiles and jokes, but sometimes (sometimes), he smiles in this sort of way that makes your heart stop for a beat, and remember why you fell in love with him in the first place.

A/N: I wrote this one on the bus. XD I’m surprised looking at my notebook where I typed it from it’s not horrible >.> the bus is soooo bumpy! ^^; And... I"M AT 20!! I started this on a whim as simply a thing to play with for drabbles and make my writing better. I started on the 1st of March XD I might do the Suju one later... >.>
