1. What movie have you seen the most time in the theater? How many times?
I remember seeing Sense and Sensibility a few times. And for some reason I saw Dances with Wolves more than once. My uncle wanted to see it, but unfortunately didn't really have much of an attention span, and he was high. Literally high. Weird choice of movie to watch when you're high. I imagine.

2. What was the last movie you walked out of in the theater?
Angel Heart -- I was probably 9 or 10 and went with a friend to her dad's weekend visitation. He just dragged us to stuff he wanted to do, a total skeez. It scared the crap out of us so we left her dad and went to the bathroom. For half an hour.

3. What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
Bambi. Obviously it wasn't first release. I was probably 4.

4. What is your favorite movie soundtrack?
Currently, Juno.

5. Have you ever dressed up as a movie character for Halloween? If so, who?
I don't think so, but I'm having a hard time remembering any costumes I wore for Halloween, except a ladybug one year and Nixon another year. Yeah I was weird.

6. What was the first R-rated movie you ever saw? Were you allowed or did you sneak?
Not sure.

7. Star Wars (orig. trilogy) or Lord of the Rings?
Star Wars. I like Lord of the Rings, but Star Wars is sacred, and I'm not even a big nerd.

DeNiro. I did like The Godfather, though.

9. Titanic...did it suck or was it great?
Titanic was great. Now it's extremely cheesy.

10. What's your take on Cassavetes?
Heard of him. No opinion.

The Hours really affected me, but I will say you can't watch it once a week or anything. Too heavy. Lost in Translation is great, too, so is The Princess Bride.

Confessions of a Shopaholic, and it IS being made into a movie. I don't care who directs it.

So, I'm working a short week next week and then leaving for Maine.  I'm excited to go away for a few days but today I find out that one of the people in my department, who's been out for 2 weeks, will be out for possibly another 6 weeks.  Crap...

I hate leaving a mess at work, but I'm not changing my plans.  

 

the first two albums i had and yes they were actually albums yanno vinyl. I still have them Michael Jackson's Thriller and Madonna's Like a Virgin. My mom bought both for me I would spend hours listening to them. I had other records as a kid but they were all disney albums handed down from my older aunts. And those story books that the record read to you i had snow white and cinderella and many others but those didn't count as much as Thriller or Like a Virgin cus those were mine not anything i had to share with my brothers.
I wish I had a record player to listen to them now I mean i have them both on my computer so i can listen to them whenever but I miss listening to music on vinyl.
I need to get those nifty new record players with the cd player and radio built in but whenever i have extra money it of course never goes to that.
I have since inherited (ok pretty much stolen) all my dad's albums from back in the day he's got the beatles white album, hendrix, the doors I would love to listen to them again. After my grandma died I got all of her Elvis albums too So i'd like to listen to those too.

maybe if i am really good this year for christmas santa will bring me a record player.

After driving illegally for five years...

I finally went to the DMV & got my driver's license.

Yay for procrastination. I'm having company over next week for the 'Thewlis Rox' trip, so I got my lazy butt in gear to responsibly drive around my online family while they're here.

what i did was opened up my main photobucket to the public most folders are private lol i have MANY folders I figured i didn't want the same password for my WHOLE photobucket so to do that i had to open up the main account and then assign different passwords for each folder i wanted to have opened with a password.

question:

( Make Up Your Mind )

I am such a TV-lovin' fangirl.  I've been that way for a *long* time, but in recent years, I've watched much less TV than I used to.  However, once a fangirl, always a fangirl, I say and therefore, I have thoughts on the Emmy nominations that came out today.

 

I guess he wasn't feeling well the past couple weeks he had a cough but he just kept doing what he usually does he runs and is busy with work and his 2 kids well the other day he went for a run and his lungs were hurting but he didnt pay it any mind. I guess sunday he dropped the kids off at my aunt's and was gonna go home but when he got home he could barely take himself into the house he called his wife and then she took his temp it was like 104 so of course they took him to the hospital. He has pneumonia. His lungs are like filled with fluid. I didn't hear much about everything my cousin abbie called me this afternoon. I guess i am not watching her dogs anymore :( i am kinda sad about it i was looking forward to having her doggies here.
so hopefully they will keep us updated on adam. I hope he feels better soon. I still have to call my mom and tell her. My parents went away for the weekend it's my dad's birthday today so they went to iowa to the riverboat casino they like to go to.
