| About: | Phillip-Michael Scales officialy started Phillipism in September of 2003 due to the recent break up of his band The Basement Heroes. However, unofficialy Phillipism began in the winter of 2002 with 5-song EPs. The EPs were recorded in very few takes, inserts were printed from Microsoft word, and generally consisted of songs that wern't quite right for the band. The sound is best described as acoustic indie rock that is often simple to relate to. After two years, a more mature Phillipism has been put on the front burner. |
