| About: | This is a new, free-expression LiveJournal community for Philadelphia and the surrounding area. The purpose of the community is to introduce Philadelphians and strangers to stories, art, performances and social aspects in the city, and provide a resource and forum for general information questions and politics that concern the area.
There are intentionally few rules here. Posting is unmoderated once you join, but we insist that posts and comments remain relevant and respectful. Personals and self-promotions are welcome so long as they are not repetitive (ie. spam), and are at least tangentally related to Philadelphia. However, harassing or ridiculing other community members will not be tolerated and entries or comments doing this will be summarily deleted without notice. If you're racist, if you're homophobic, if you're bigoted and you just can't keep your mouth shut, there is no place for you here.
