Welcome! Here at phantom_lims, you can compete to be Phantom of the Opera's Last Icon Maker Standing. I've gotten my ideas from the other contests, and decided that the Phantom needed his own.
Every round, I will provide a screencap to the competitors and the entries will be voted on. One person will be eliminated each round with the rest moving on to the next challenge.
- You can't join the contest if you're not a member of the community.
- Voters do not have to be members.
- Once you're a member, you can sign up at this post.
- When you sign up, put the term 'Prima Donna' in your comment so I know you read the rules.
- Each participant may skip only ONE round. If more, then expect to be disqualified. Check this post for information on gaining additional skips. You can gain a maximum of two extra skips.
- When the Competition starts, a challenge will be issued every Saturday.
- Extentions may be awarded if given a GOOD reason.
- You will be provided with a screencap of a Phantom of the Opera clip to make an icon out of.
- You may use any brushes, textures, gradients, etc.
- You may not combine two different screencaps.
- Icons must be under 40 kb, 100x100 px, and in .jpg, .gif, or .png format.
- To submit icon, comment the challange post with your img src and url.
- You may not post your comment anywhere else on the internet to keep your entry anonymous.
- Voting will take place on Fridays. If your icons are not in on time, they will be disqualified.
- Voters do not have to be members of the community.
- Anonymous votes will not be counted.
- You can't vote for yourself or get someone else to.
- You will be voting on your most and least favorite icons on each round.
- A reason will be given for each vote.
- Winners will be posted when there are enough votes, so this may mean waiting around a bit, but better to wait than to eliminate someone based on only a few votes.
