I know it's not July, but I'll be gone for the next few weeks. First off, Happy Birthday PGSM-Fanfiction.net. We turn two this year. In celebration, the challenge this month is: Anniversaries. I'll enable voting for all submissions, and there might be a little somethin' somethin' for the favorite. Also, if you are on the East Coast of the USA and heading off to Otakon, Kirari-PGSM will be taking part in the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon fan-panel being run by Lilly-chan over at the BSSMLA Fanlisting Finally Do NOT created new registrations with hyphens (-) or underscores (_). Many people are having trouble logging into their accounts with those characters. The only solution is for me to manually fix your name, so please avoid doing this.

I apologize for possibly spamming your f-list with this, but just in case you haven't heard, I thought I'd take advantage of the community. If one of the mods has a problem with this post, they are more than welcome to delete it.
For those of you who are unaware, Livejournal has been deleting journals and communities on this site all day. A group named "Warriors of Innocence" (I recommend you not go to their site as there is a great deal of spyware) made noise about communities on LJ that had to do with incest, pedophilia, and rape. Allegedly, initially they were only concerned with real-life situations, but it quickly spread to the fandom comms; unsurprisingly, Harry Potter has taken the biggest hit. LJ has essentially committed a knee-jerk reaction at the behest of what can only be described as an extremist, right-wing vigilante group who threatened their advertisers.
Regardless of how you feel about the issues cited by Warriors of Innocence, the fact of the matter is that fandom is being threatened. Should your journal contain any keywords LJ finds inappropriate, your journal or community is gone. This is tantamount to persecution and we are the victims. I for one am tired of being viewed as a pervert, degenerate, or pariah because I write fanfiction and that sometimes that fiction involves porn. Some people might not like it, but all they have to do is hit a back button; they don't need to take away one of the places that I go to unwind.
At this time, I'm unaware of any official statements to their own customers, but here are several links that you might find helpful, including a statement from LJ to a news organization. It's becoming alarmingly clear where their priorities now.

Hello, newbie alert! I'm quite new to PGSM (although I've been writing fic for years), and I come bearing an armload of ficlets to spam you with.
This is the result of a challenge I set myself: yaoi fiend that I am, I was overwhelmed by the plethora of pretty men and accompanying subtext, and went to write a ficlet for every possible combination of the Shitennou and Endymion. Hence the concept of a multiplication table. I had way too much fun doing this.
Author Name: Arkady
Story Title: Multiplication Tables
Genre: Various, though predominantly smutty drama.
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: The sex is usually implied, but not always, and the solo bits are exactly what you think they are. All ficlets can be expected to contain BDSM elements (I find it peculiarly hard to write vanilla), and spoilers abound. Individual ficlets will have warnings as appropriate for stealth het or kinkier sex. Also note that not all of the boys were particularly pleasant people during their time in the Dark Kingdom; there are pieces with consent issues and similar unpleasantness, and those will have triggery warnings.
Pairing: Besides the obvious, there are bits of Nephrite/Ami, Kunzite/Darkury, Jadeite/Beryl, and Mamoru/Usagi.
Time Frame: Various.

October Challenge -
The October Challenge is masks/costumes/disguises. As much fun as last Octobers entries were, I thought it was time for something a little different.
This is also a reminded that you may want to start planning for November's Challenge which is National Novel Writing Month.
50,000 words in 30 days, can you handle it? It's also the one month where you are encouraged to write anything non-PGSM oriented.

Since I won't be here this weekend, here is July's news.
1. Happy Birthday PGSM-Fanfiction.net. Since it's our birthday this month, this month's challenge has become an actual contest with a prize. Which leads me to this months challenge.
July Challenge
This month's challenge is "stars". Interpret that however you want. Star Festival (Tanabata)? Sure. Star-crossed lovers? Why not? Sailor Stars? Can you make it fit in with PGSM canon?
All entries must be in by July 29th if they wish to enter the contest. Voting will be enabled in a special, open to guests, forum topic and the winner will receive the official Sailor Venus bow toy.
In order to be officially entered into the contest, you must submit your story to the Challenge. If you cannot figure out how to do so, read the PGSM Fanfiction Help Wiki files or contact your loyal webmistress.
2. The Wiki is up and ready to go for both PGSM-Fanfiction and PGSM help.
