As a significant proportion of the pfingo trialists are using Macs for their trial, we went about to search for a desktop "Softphone" client that would work with pfingoTALK on Mac OS X.
And we have tested a SIP-client from CounterPath that works great with pfingoTALK called X-Lite!

pfingoTALK X-Lite SIP Account Settings
Display Name - Enter your pfingoTALK number (e.g. 31050000)
User Name - Enter your pfingoTALK number (e.g. 31050000)
Password - Enter your pfingoTALK PIN (e.g. 123456)
Authorization User Name - Enter your pfingoTALK number (e.g. 31050000)
Domain - Enter "sip.pfingo.com"
For Domain Proxy settings,
"check" - Register with domain and receive incoming calls
Set Outbound Proxy via - Choose "Target Domain"
Leave the rest of the settings as they are and you will be good to go!
Caveat: you will not have access to the send SMS or synchronized contacts from the X-Lite client. |
