Wednesday
Today was pretty good. I was out of the group home running an appointment for some of the busy part of the morning, so it was a nice change. Jake was here too, so I didn't have to do the whole house. I came home and slept like a rock for about 4 hours, and woke to find John snoozing next to me. We don't often sleep the same hours, so that was nice. Stormy was also cuddled up with us, one big happy family. I felt good enough to pull on gear and go for a short run, my first that I've finished in nearly a week. I did 3.2 in 31:45. I was exhausted afterwards, so I'm still not 100%, but am doing better. I got a shower and then crossloaded some pictures and music on my phone before heading back to bed. John brought me tomato soup and grilled cheese (my favorite meal!) and we watched some History Channel show about Star Wars. I wish we had caught it at the beginning, but it was interesting. I napped off and on, then came in to work early tonight at 10pm. One strange thing from today: I was contacted by an old high school classmate, one who was not always very nice to me. I guess they are gathering info for our 20th (gasp!) class reunion next year... Yeesh! But hearing from this guy really caught me off guard. I have more work to do, so got to run. I'll be going straight to bed after work today, yay!

There is a crazy woman in my neighbourhood playing polka music full blast out of her car stereo. She's had it on for the past two hours.

Hello people that actually read what I wrote here.
It's been a while since I last update here but that doesn't mean I am not around. I am lurking here, giving comments when necessary and being picky to see which post to read.
Now it's my semester break but back at home here is as noisy as ever. Don;t really get the quiet and relaxation I wanted. Though my parents do give me a little time on my own when I have studies. When studies are over, that idea seems impossible. |

I spent all my time reading (both Sandman - the Kindly Ones and Volunteers by annafugazzi, which I love and will be reccing later) and betaing.
I didn't do my own writing, but I still felt productive.
Is it that that I think of reading (especially fan fic and graphic novels) productive?

Tuesday
Tuesday was a long day, but I was feeling better. I worked midnight till noon, then went home and crashed out. I slept until nearly 11 pm, and I feel fine tonight. I thought about running, but decided to wait one more day to rest up from this past weekend. I Hope to geto ut in the morning and do a little, especially since I have a cross country meet this Saturday... I know I'm boring, but I'm getting back to normal. |

Ed and Al cosplay Kris and I grabbed our cameras, put on our cosplay, and headed out to the park to take some Ed and Al photos yesterday. Of course, we had to stop off at Steak and Shake first.  ( Go Brother Go!!! ) This "photoshoot" has made me decide to buy a new wig for Edward -.-;; uhg. Kris and I are going to Kostume Room on Thursday. Current Mood:  geeky |

OTAKON pictures~! It took longer than I thought to get these up online because I had to find a relatively free photo uploading site with relatively unlimited bandwidth. Monday
I slept about half the day Monday, and I felt better by the afternoon. John and I went for a walk in the cemetary, and we found one of the oldest stones we've seen so far, 1841. I was beat by the time we got home, definitely not recovered yet. I worked on some FBs and slams and then learned out to play Texas Hold 'Em poker on my new phone. I think I'm addicted to the game now... I wish the money I was winning was real. Then I wouldn't have to worry about getting this van sold in the next week or so... I lounged aorund and watched some Olympics, dozing in and out before work. I'm doing OK here, but I'm extremely tired. I hope this morning goes well, or I don't know if I can handle it. Today is John and I's 2nd wedding anniversary, and all either one of us plans on doing is working. He's got 2 shifts today, and so do I. Oh well... We were gonna celebrate last weekend, but my system shutting me down kind of stopped that. We'll see what happens this weekend. |

Are they F*ing serious?!? I just read an article that said that the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be postponed until July 17, 2009. *pulls hair* I was really, really looking forward to watching this movie and it is the ONLY 'must-see-in-theaters' movie I have on my list. Medicine and dreams
I've hadtwo extremely vivid dreams tonight. I'm assuming the medicines I took yesterday helped them along. Anyone who analyzes dreams is welcome to take a stab at them...
1. Triathlon. I was yelling at my dad because he was making me late for my first triathlon. We were late but they allowed me to start... all alone. The swim was across the end of a murky shopping center parking lot. Then I woke up...
2. Gangsters. I was kidnapped by gangsters. They were in suits like Dick Tracy or Guys and Dolls. The boss threatened me for something, and I tried to sell him my van... I woke up while telling him all about it....

I'm alive
It's been a rough weekend. I'll just say that I'm alive. I haven't felt good for several days, like I was on the verge of an asthma or allergy attack of some sort. Saturday evening, something triggered me (no clue what), and by Sunday morning, I could hardly get myself out of bed between the bodyaches, the headache, and the elephant on my chest. I didn't go to church, and slept for like 19 hours before I dragged myself outside to sit in the yard with John for a little bit. I only lasted about 20 minutes or so before I came back in, took a medicine cocktail, and layed down again. The asthma issues had passed by the time I woke again, but my body was so weak and tired I was pretty much worthless. I've managed to put some clothes away and read email and that's about it since Saturday night. Obviously I didn't go to work either. It was the right choice, as I'm still really weak (although I feel better!) and probably wouldn't have made it through the shift. I did get creative in the last hour or so and made some new addy labels for my swaps. I figured out I can do most of the graphic work on my phone, which is high speed,then get on John's slow computer to print stuff out... Anyhow, those of you who are swappers, watch for them soon! John's at work, the cat is sleeping, and I plan to be again soon. If any of you have tried to call me this weekend, I apologize. I shut the phone off so I could rest as much as the body wanted to without interruption... I hope I feel better this afternoon and can go for a walk or something. It's been so nice, and I haven't been able to get out and do anything.
(Pixie, did you thoughtfully send me that illness along with your package? BTW it arrived on Saturday morning...!) |

Yes, the colors do represent something, and I hope to not show favoritism one way or the other with them. (Don't tell if you know, just vote!) I did my tie dying today and am pleased how it turned out. I did 3 tshrts and 2 pairs of socks in red and orange. All look great, and it was easier (and less messy) than expected. Now I have to decide which one I like best...
The rest of my day has been pretty much fail... I had problems during my run and stopped after 15 minutes and walked home. Better to call it a day than do something stupid... I plan to spend the afternoon in my yard withthe Olympics on the portable tv and a book in hand... |

Mong mọi chuyện vẫn ổn với Hashu, nhỉ, dear...? Đến khoảng trưa, tớ ngộ ra rằng đời thật lắm chuyện bất ngờ...nhưng tớ cũng xác định được rằng tớ sẽ tiếp tục sống, và sống khỏe, cho đến khi mình 94 tuổi và sẽ trút hơi thở cuối cùng ở San Francisco...X") Và cũng mong những người quanh tớ vẫn sống mãi bên tớ, vì tớ chợt nhận ra tớ sợ cái chết lắm... Thursday Boy am I glad it's Friday morning. I'm burned out this week, and just want to go home and pull the covers over my head for a few days. Everyone here at work has either been sick or grumpy for the last couple days, and I don't feel 100% tonight either. After work Thursday, I went home and slept pretty hard. I needed the rest, but still don't think I got enough. I pulled on gear and John got out his bike about 6pm. We got about a mile out and it started raining. Hard. I don't mind a warm summer rain, but John can't handle it, so we just turned around and headed home. I would have run a lot longer if it hadn't been for his whining. I got a shower and he made dinner (fresh squash with some seasoned chicken!) I went back to bed about the time a storm hit, so I didn't actually sleep much more, especially with a cat who wanted to check out the storm from every window using my bed as a springboard... It's been a long night here, and I just can't wait to get home. I did get a couple giggles, one from last night's Mavid dance (a bullfight! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-G5lG54_fI ), and one from this still of the lovely Mr. Cook. He's so crazy...  Onstage with a suit, tie, and a teddy bear... How cute! (I wasn't sure who to credit for the photo/vid cap, I found it online. If it's yours, let me know and I'll credit! I love it!) |

The good, the bad and the ...
The Bad - Harry Potter Half Blood Prince movie is pushed back to July 2009.
The Good - I will be at Azkatraz with tons of other fandom peeps and we will take over the theater in costume.
the... - I don't really have an ugly. I'm actually more excited about seeing the movie with fanom peeps than worrying about the movie being pushed back. |

Wednesday
Work went well Wednesday morning, things were pretty calm. I crashed out pretty quick after arriving home, and didn't even wake up when John crawled in after he got home. Stormy decided to shift in her sleep, and stuck a claw in my belly around 2:30pm After that, I couldn't get back to sleep. I had to get up and get ready for the theatre anyhow. I dressed erally nice, and John asked me who my hot date was, since he wasn't going. My uncle took me out to see To Kill A Mockingbird. It was really intense and well done. I had time for a short nap between the play and work, but not enough to really sleep. Tonight has been hectic here, and I still have more to do. I'm going home and straight to bed today, I am beat! |

Icky Spider Wednesday Ok, so I'm going through my road trip pictures (which I will post soon, really!) and I looked at my spider picture again, so I tried to find out what kind of spider it was, and I think it is a wolf spider. And I found a very VERY creepy picture of a closeup of the babies on a wolf spider. ( arachniphobes do not click )I'm so creeped out! I had to creep you out too. |
