Jesus christ, this community hasn't been updated in like... a YEAR. Is there a reason? Is it dead? Should I unadd it? ;-;

Also, the latest post said "It's coming out!" and it already has now! 8D I have volumes one and two and Leon has made cameos in BOTH thank kami! :: glees::

Hi, it's me again, the translator for vols 4 to 10 of the "old" Petshop of Horrors manga for TokyoPop back in the day. I just happened to have come across a link to a thread on the animeondvd.com forums that would seem to indicate that New Petshop has been licensed by TokyoPop based on the following amazon.com link:

I have no involvement with this. I had a very busy fall and winter season doing Slayers novels #7 and #8 (which are in printing, I do believe) and I'm back to my "regular" manga load so I'm hardly surprised that no one approached me to add this to my pile. Best of luck to the translator and editors concerned and to all the readers who are eagerly awaiting a well developed product.

I checked and didn't see this information posted on this ML previously but, if it's the first word here, it's basically pure dumb luck on my part, not inside information of any kind. Take care.

I purchased the entirety of PsOH a long while back, before scanlations, and I could have sworn I had text translations on my HD somewhere. Alas, it is no longer there! :'(. Does anyone know if there are text translations for the manga available *anywhere* online? I don't mean scanlations, just the typed 'scripts' >.<''

I am in love with the 2 page spread piture from the title page of "Deep", the first chapter in book 8. I'd be happy to have a b/w scan, but if there is a color version of this picture anywhere, or if anyone here has colored it themselves, that would rock as well! It is just an awesome pic.

(I just got books 8, 9, and 10 from half.com for a total of $10.01, including shipping for all 3! WHEE!)

Hey Pet Shop fans! I just had to brag on my wonderful new husband... He brought me home PSOH book 7 this week!!! I haven't read it all yet, but I'm sure I'll love it as much as the others.

Oh, does anyone have the cover pic from book 6 (D in blue with the dragon heads) online? I'd LOVE to have an icon with it...

i'm new to anime. i've read a teaser of pet shop of horrors somewhere, but i have no idea where manga english books are sold here, and if they have this manga here as everyone's only talking about naruto and bleach. soo i've been searching all over the internet for english-translated scans (like the ones i see my friends reading all the time), but i can't find anything!

help, please? :(

I don't know if you have seen this, but there are so few PSoH AMV's out there that I had to share. Besides, this one is the best of the lot, IMHO. It's entitled Pax Deorum.

Hiya folks. I am here! Sorry I have been so quiet, but I have been busy buying a house and planning a wedding! (Anyone want to send me PSOH books 7-10 as a wedding gift? I've only read up to book 6.) Anyhow, I wondered if anyone had any PSOH Icons? I LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture of Count D on the cover of Book 6, with the dragons, and would be eternally grateful if someone could put that onto an Icon with the words "Welcome to my pet shop" for me... OH! Good news! Night Exile has finally gotten around to scanlating Volume 2 Chapter 5 of Shin Pet Shop of Horrors!

(Important note: I don't mean that to come out sounding negative in any way, shape or form. I for one greatly appreciate the effort she makes to translate the series and I know that life and the things we need to do all too often gets in the way of the things we want to do.)

I was doing an interest search for Petshop of Horrors and I came upon this community. Hi!

My name is yellowhorde and I've been hooked on PSoH for about a year and a half now. I write drabbles, sometimes stories (though longer works have a tendency of not getting finished ^^') and I have read all of the ten English manga and own two of the new Japanese ones. I also belong to a few other PSoH communities here on LJ and on Yahoo Groups.
