Most of these I found tonight, some real gems.

Pink Satin Sash by faelyn leaf
Summary: [Hook movieverse] Wendy never stops waiting for Peter, even after she's grown up. Five drabbles on Wendy's life.

Sitting on the Sidelines by dress-without-sleeves
Summary: When Wendy has a bad spill, Peter must keep her company.

It’s a Fine Day for It by dress-without-sleeves
Summary: John Darling is concerned. Peter and Wendy have children, but they aren't married... well, there's only one solution: a wedding! But between Scheming!Tink, Baffled!Smee, and a rowdy band of Lost Boys, will they even make it down the ... er ... plank?

On Becoming a Woman by dress-without-sleeves
Summary: Sometimes, scholars around the world agree, if the moment is right and the correct people are where they ought to be, a moment can occur that many have termed 'a coincidence'. Others, the more romantic, use the name 'fate'.

Till Morning by dress-without-sleeves
Summary: But perhaps, says that tiny little voice that maybe still believes in fairies, it is you that do not understand, you in this tidy house with a tidy husband and a drawer full of dreams. Mrs. Darling reflects.

The Life You Save May Be Your Own by dress-without-sleeves
Summary: And by pure will alone, you've offended all reason. Wendy wasn't meant to be a housewife.

Thimble by dress-without-sleeves
Summary: All at once, without meaning to, Peter Pan grew up.

Valediction by dress-without-sleeves
Summary: Peter is used to saying goodbye.

I have a fanfic I've been working on. Three chapters posted so far, here:

http://chaos.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=1517

Summary: Eleanor Pearson, friend of a now-married, adult Wendy, is taken away to Neverland by Peter Pan as the marriage she is dreading draws closer. She wants to revert to the simpler times of childhood, but will she find much more than she thought possible in a pirate who is growing tired of his existence as Peter Pan’s nemesis?

Reviews appreciated. :-)

Title: Naturalist
Author: Ellery Nocturne
Word Count: 940
Summary: Wendy has grown up, but she hasn't forgotten Neverland, and she hasn't stopped being...well, Wendy. A chronicle of the Storyteller of Neverland's adventures, from her entwined fate with another Storyteller to her expedition to Avalon itself.
Author's Notes: I really hope that those of you who haven't played the computer game can follow this chapter. If you can't, do tell me what details I should explain more clearly.

Chapter One: Wheels Starting to Move

Snarks ripped at her, but she was used to them by now, and her vorpal blade made quick work of those foolish enough to try. Tonight she wasn’t interested in leaving that secret room, despite Cheshire’s newest riddle. Taking life from air vents below, Alice thought, swimming in one direction, making sure she had vents enough to stay in one place.

The funny thing about the Neverland, she could hear Wendy saying, is that it never seems to stop moving. It’s full of stories you know, and so whoever is telling the story at the time moves it.

How terribly impractical, she said to herself now, knife in her teeth as she planted a jackbomb next to the rusted grate—the water stung her eyes, and that was a good sign. Islands were not often in freshwater seas, after all. Come to think of it…Alice filed away the idea. It would make for a very pleasant swimming expirience.

The muffled explosion knocked her back, and she received a nasty bite from a snark for her lack of foresight. Almost idly she dispatched it, and after taking a final lungful of stale air, squeezed through the hole, launching herself into open water.

~*~~~*~~*~*~*~~*~~~*~

A dim part of Alice’s memory told her that these were sirens as she tangled with the shark-like beings in the water, attracted by her blood. As she came up for air, one of them bit her, hard, causing the vorpal blade to fall from her fingers.

She saw red, and with a scream of rage that echoed (as sounds will) across the open water, she dug into her apron pocket and shoved a jackbomb at the offender, swimming away. The explosion propelled her, and the screams of the mermaids made her smile. Got what you deserved, you horrid creatures.

Unknown to Alice, Time had slowed time in Wonderland, making Alice capable of surviving on no sleep and scarce food—Neverland had so such ruler of moments, and soon she felt her stomach gnaw at her insides, and her body shake with exhaustion. Madness, however, is one of the only things that can ignore such base needs, and with its help, Alice found herself face-to-face with a barnacle-encrusted hull before long.

Surfacing, she looked up; light emenated from the top, and voices met her ears. Voices. Voices meant people of some kind, and people meant food. With a crooked little smile, Alice sank down and swam a bit further along the hull, surfacing every so often to look around. Soon she found handholds, and heaved herself up, her dress gaining a new encumberance that she’d never known before.

“Well,” she said to herself, “I shall have words with her about such terrible flaws in her world. Now let’s see…” she paused just under the deck, quieting to an inner monologue. They shall put up a fight, and I’ve no blade. That leaves me with…the dice—no, no, the demons eat the good parts. The cards? Hm, they’ll do, yes. And getting out the deck of deadly cards, she heaved herself up with her free arm, letting herself tumble, and using the momentum to get up, cards between her fingers before she was standing, her green eyes darting around. Oh, such lovely meat… her stomach growled eagerly.

They didn’t know what to do, that much was clear—this gave them hesitance, and hesitance was her advantage. The cards sliced air, eagerly searching flesh to burrow into. In the space of a few moments, she had a meal dead on the wooden planking, and used the cards buried to slice at the flesh with the mania of starvation.

For long moments, the sounds of her eating were the only noise; then a voice made her look up, the green of her eyes a startling contrast to the cherry-red blood on her chin, hands and dress.

“What is this silence in your revelry, lads? I quite enjoyed it.”

Slowly the dense crowd of men parted, letting the figure have clearer view. Alice was standing, her jacks and ball in hand now—he was far away, and the jacks were most effective at ranged attack; but his regalia gave her almost panic-inducing pause.

He was wearing red.

Alice screamed, and fired blindly, running as far away as she could get, throwing her whole arsenal of deadly toys at him, her cries those of a child as she completely left the realm of sentience.

The cards sliced blindly, and the jacks tried to find her target—failing. The demon summoned found it had no substance here. The rest of her weapons were unranged, and she ended huddling in the farthest corner she could find, panicking, eyes wide and soulless with fear.

The captain advanced, more curious than anything—after all, none of the weapons had hit him.

“While I expect fear from those who know my name, your reaction is curious indeed.” His voice was velvet and darkness, one elegant brow raised in interest. Alice didn’t answer, wincing with a cry as he reached out to make her look at him. “And who are you, little dear?”

“Which one are you?” she finally mustered her courage enough to speak, her voice going hard and cold, though her body was still afraid.

“Which what?” he asked, languid.

“King!” she said with frustration, shoving at him—in horror, she realised that she had no more strength here, and a wave of nausea took her, making her paler. Hook stepped away as she wretched, something almost like pity on his face as he looked from the dead man to the sick girl.
Title: Naturalist
Author: Ellery Nocturne
Word Count: 595
Summary: Wendy has grown up, but she hasn't forgotten Neverland, and she hasn't stopped being...well, Wendy. A chronicle of the Storyteller of Neverland's adventures, from her entwined fate with another Storyteller to her expedition to Avalon itself.
Author's Notes: There will be crossover-ing with American McGee's version of Alice in Wonderland, as well as JV Hart's version of Hook. Wendy is between 17-19 in this.

Sometime between then and now, Wendy realised, she had grown up; at first she was horrified, but upon further thought she decided she hadn’t precisely grown up in a bad way, and went back to reading aloud to the girl laying on the bed. Despite the catatonia of her companion, Wendy read steadily to her, from the treasured copy of Grimm’s fairy tales.

“Why did you stop?”

Wendy jumped and gave an extremely startled cry at the voice, looking up to see the green eyes turned to her.

“You…you spoke!” she said in shock.

“Why did you stop, just now?” she asked again, her voice rather expressionless and harsh, with a slight crack to it.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” Wendy said with a little laugh. “I was just…remembering.”

“Remembering what?”

“Well…” Wendy began, putting the ribbon in place and closing the heavy tome, “When I was very small, a boy came to my window one night, and took me and my brothers away…”

As she recounted the tale, Wendy noticed that her listener seemed more and more interested, and the manic glint in her green eyes began to unnerve Wendy a little. Still, the storyteller’s trance enveloped her senses, and soon she was jumping around the room as she told of her exploits with the pirates, and the indians, and the lost boys. To her surprise and delight, she soon made Alice smile, and laugh, and gasp in all the right places.

“And then…” Wendy trailed off, seeing that Alice wanted to speak. “Yes?”

“What is it called, this island?”

“Oh!” Wendy put a hand to her cheek. “Goodness, did I forget to tell you? Neverneverland.”

“I went somewhere when I was ‘very small’ too.”

Wendy came back to her chair and sat down, her cheeks flushed and her eyes sparkling from all the storytelling she’d done. “Oh?” she leaned forward, interested. “Tell me about it?”

“You have to go now.”

“I—what?” Wendy was dismayed to see her new friend laying back down, “No please—” she heard the sound of the orderlies in the hall, and understood. Alice must have very good hearing! she thought with some surprise, getting up and trying not to look as though she’d spent the last fifteen minutes running about joyfully. The dingy, barred door at the end of the room opened, revealing two burly, white-uniformed guards and her elder brother, who was dressed smartly in deep brown. Pushing his glasses up his long nose, he smiled at her.

“’lo Wendy. Have a nice visit?”

“Oh yes,” she said with a smile that belied none of what happened, “We read the Twelve Dancing Princesses today.” Before leaving, she turned to Alice’s bed. “Good bye, Alice; see you next week.”

It may have been her imagination, but Wendy thought she saw a diminutive smile curve those pale lips before she left the room.

~*~~~*~~*~*~*~~*~~~*~

“She spoke today, John,” Wendy said as the carriage began to move, her blue eyes shining. “Spoke, John! To me!”

A dark brow raised, “Really? What did she say?”

“Well, she asked me why I’d stopped reading, and I ended up telling her all about…you know…”

John closed his eyes with a look of pain; Wendy’s face fell.

“I’m sorry, John…”

“Don’t, please. I’ll get on someday….” But his tone was far from fine, and the rest of the ride was spent looking out the window, fingers smoothing over the tiger-head of his walking stick. Wendy bit her lip, looking at her hands, and couldn’t bear to look up until the carriage had stopped, and they were home.
