Just thought I might let you guys know that Crouch is now a Portsmouth player after being signed for £15m.

EDIT

And Liverpool have finally backed down over their £15m asking price for striker Peter Crouch... paving the way for the England international to join Portsmouth next week. (The Sun)

It's a Peter Crouch picspam. Not really slashy pics so no one will get grossed out (unless of course they're Crouchy slashers--hey, tell me if you are if there are any out there).

Robot Dance [Saturday, Apr 14th @ 3:05pm]

[ mood | crazy ]

On Easter Sunday I went for a big Family Meal to the Walkers Stadium in Leicester (also my Nana's B/day).

Half way through the meal a person dressed up as Filbert the Fox (Leicester City's Mascot) comes out and like talks to all the kids and generally messes about and stuff. Now the kids all love this! But me and my sister don't! She doesn't because believe it or not even though she's 25 she's scared of people dressed up in big animal costumes!

I'm embarrassed by the situation! So my Dad (annoying Dads) tried to get this Fox to come over and talk to me and my sister, but I said quite loudly "I support Liverpool!".... as you can imagine this went down like a ton of shit with a room full of die hard Leicester supporters, I though it was hilarious, and..............

The fox started doing the Crouch robot dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I nearly wet myself with laughter........ then all the other Liverpool fans started coming out of the woodwork, my little 2nd cousin Adam, who is about 6 and my cousin Guy!!! I promised Adam the next time I went to Liverpool I would get him a Liverpool hat or something, I asked him who he favourite player was and he said Crouch or Gerrard, but then he said actually CROUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEY for THE CROUCH!

Peter Crouch, My Favourite Giant: Our 4-1 thumping of Arsenal really was a case of he who laughs last, laughs loudest. We put up with a lot of sneering and jibes from Gooner fans after our double cup exit and defeat at the Emigrants, but a lot of good those victories did them. It`s us who are now sitting above them in third place and are still very much involved in the Champions League, whereas they have nothing to play for, so who`s smiling now?... [click on link for the rest]

Cup exit spurred us on says Crouch: Arsenal knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup 3-1 and out of the Carling Cup 6-3, both times at Anfield. Rafael Benitez used those earlier defeats to fire up the Reds on Saturday revealed Peter Crouch. [click link for more]

Peter Crouch to the rescue?
YES!!!

Looks like there's a lot of betting on Crouchy going on...o.O

Peter Crouch on: I got the Skills but Not the Time: Peter Crouch was happy to have showed his full potential once given 90 minutes of playing time. He avenged Liverpool’s defeat against Arsenal and at the same time proved his worth to the team despite his second team status.
The player who has the height of a basketball player and skills of a footballer scored a hat-trick on an array of skills and goal on each foot and head.
[click link for more, you know the drill :P]

WENGER OUT! WENGER OUT!: ...Meanwhile, at Anfield, Peter Crouch's gradual metamorphosis into a real footballer continued with a "perfect hat-trick" for Liverpool...

This one is verrrrry nice:

Red in Dublin: Crouch Classic: I have seen the light. On Saturday I was privilaged to witness the power and the glory that was the Peter Crouch show at Anfield...

Crouch has his first hat-trick! [Saturday, Mar 31st @ 1:07pm]

Liverpool 4--1 Arsenal

Peter Crouch's first hat-trick at club level saw Liverpool leap-frog Arsenal to go third in the Premiership.

Crouch turned in Alvaro Arbeloa's cross to put Liverpool ahead after four minutes, then headed in from Fabio Aurelio's delivery in the 34th minute.

Daniel Agger glanced in another brilliant Aurelio cross on the hour before William Gallas poked in from almost on the line for Arsenal.

Crouch then made it a treble with a neat turn and finish after 80 minutes.

Poor Crouch [Saturday, Feb 24th @ 7:19pm]

Rafael Benitez has revealed that Peter Crouch was forced to leave the field against Sheffield United because the striker had broken his nose.
Crouch sustained the injury when he jumped for a ball from the corner and was caught by a high boot and had to be replaced by Dirk Kuyt.

"Crouch has a broken nose and needed stitches but it's not serious," said Benitez.

"He is okay and I was talking to him after the game."

oh poor Peter!  Thankfully it doesn't sound too bad!  Lets hope he's back soon!

and here are some nice yet gruesome pictures, definitley not for the faint hearted!

searching round a bit... [Monday, Jan 22nd @ 9:09pm]

found some things crouch-related that might be interesting:

here: ' Juventus has also been active and aggressively looking to add to their roster (Real Madrid's Ronaldo and Liverpool's Peter Crouch - to name a couple - have been rumoured to join the club) and it is clear Juventus still commands a prestigious place in world soccer.'

[Crouch to Juventus? NO.]

here: ' Against predictions and a very uninspiring Chelsea side, Liverpool went up two goals early and held on, making it truly the perfect day. Well, actually, fighting for a cab with two Chelsea fans and winning was the final icing on the cake. Though it's become just too easy to hate Chelsea FC, hasn't it? Almost boring.'

here: Crouch to Newcastle?

[...NO.]

EDIT. From here: Peter Crouch has been linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus as they seek a replacement for out-bound David Trezeguet. Crouch has also been heavily linked with Newcastle United, but the player insists he wants to remain at Anfield.
