| Dayton, OH, male kitten, help needed |

From a friend who needs help:
I don't have a public LJ (I know, I know, I need to get one and I'm going to today) but I have something that needs to be posted to the pet rescue list.
Tonight I took in a tiny grey male tabby with tiger markings, but my building doesn't allow pets and I can't keep him because I'm already hiding one cat. It's going to be a hard freeze tonight and the little guy is nothing but skin and bones, I couldn't let him freeze to death. There isn't an opening in a no-kill shelter in this area.
He's an unaltered male under 1 year of age, short haired, from what I can tell he's socialized, I don't think he's had any of his shots yet and I don't know if he will do well with other cats or dogs. He eats like a bottomless pit, right now we only had canned and dry adult food and he really needs to bulk up on some kitten chow. I don't know if he's litter trained, I guess we'll find out tonight when he wakes up. He's friendly, affectionate, mouthy, loud, and bossy. So far he answers to Hiro (hubby is a huge Heroes fan) but I call him Babycakes.
We're looking for someone who can adopt him or foster him while they look for someone to adopt him. We're in the Dayton, OH area and we're willing to drive out as far as Xenia. We insist on handing him off in a public place for security reasons (a Wal-Mart parking lot is good), and whomever we give him to will probably need a carrier because we don't have an extra. Almost any day of the week before about 1 pm is good for us to make a trip.
Don't give out this email address, interested parties can get in touch with my husband at rstlss1@gmail.com |

Thanks for tacking this up. I have pics of him available now.Sorry they're huge, I'm having some trouble figuring out my camera. When he gets out of his box bed I can get some pics that will show just how teeny tiny he is. | |
