| About: | Our Rules Go Here: This is for information that gets discussed ON WARD ROUNDS. Please no exam info, lecture notes (unless relevant to stuff that's been talked about on rounds), patient histories etc. We don't need/want to know that Mary Smith is a 70 yo widow who presented with PR bleeding. It'll just get way too crowded in here. We just want the facts of hospital life. So if all you've talked about today is diverticulitis, then post it up. If you can, focus on the clinical knowledge that was emphasised by your registrar/consultant/intern/whoever. Alright, these are the rules: 1. Everyone is a moderator. 2. You may edit a post to correct spelling and/or grammar (where the meaning is clear) without having to justify or identify yourself 3. You may add anything to a post as long as you tag it with [EDIT by *insert name here*] - a comment with a justification of your addition is polite but unnecessary (for instance, if there's a fifth symptom of myocardial infarction that you just HAD to add, then that doesn't require real justification, really. I think we could all accept that.) 3. You may not delete anything in a post without first commenting as to why it's incorrect and what you propose to replace it with if you intend to replace it with anything. 4. Once the author of that post AND (a minimum of) one other member of the community has agreed that your logic is sound, you may delete the incorrect part of the post and replace it with what you've said you will replace it with OR the author can change the post him or herself without requiring another person to agree. 5. You MUST then tag it with your name in the [EDIT by *insert name here*] format, unless it is the author that has performed the change. | ||||
