We got some really fantastic entries this week. Unfortunately it took three weeks and a lot of arm twisting to get them :(. I'm still pondering what everyone said on the last post (thank you all SO MUCH for your comments!) but for now I have made a few changes:

1) You will notice there are now 4 images to choose from for the next challenge. Hopefully that will allow you to make a choice that you will enjoy making an icon for.

2) Because image quality is always a consideration, and also because some of the best movies are nearly impossible to get good quality screen captures from, I have linked the thumbnail images and the title to the full-size version that would be used if the image won. That way you can vote for your favourite film of the four choices, or for the best quality, or both.

3) Banners will be made again beginning with this week's challenge. If you won a challenge and no banners were made for that week but you still want a banner, post your winning image on this post and I will make you a banner.

I hope these changes will make the challenges more fruitful and more fun for all of us. Thanks for all your patience and continued support! And without much further ado, here is the voting for this week!

Okay, so here's the deal: we only have TWO entries for the Emma challenge that ends on Friday. The last three challenges have been extended and still run with less than 10 entries. I need your help! Are people just busy, or uninterested and uninspired? Because I don't want to keep begging for entries. I have very little time (especially with three_nails on hiatus) to do period_stills, and to tell the truth I'm not very motivated to do what I need to do as a mod when people just don't enter the challenges any more! Is it the screencaps I'm choosing or the fact that we've stopped making banners? Give me some hint as to what to do to make people get involved again, or I might have to go on a hiatus myself and reconsider some things...

I'm currently out of town and we only have six entries this week, so I will be extending the challenge an extra week. I know I've done this far too much recently but I have had very little time to run the challenge with three_nails being away and have honestly been a bit scatterbrained about getting together reminders and screen captures, etc. Please forgive me for messing up the schedule but I really would rather give an extension than run a challenge with six entries and whatever screen captures I can find in the next 20 minutes on a borrowed computer.
