This community is dedicated to Democracy, and everything that democracy means, envisions and carries out. Now is the time for us to come together in agreement - we must stand up for civil liberties and fundamental freedoms. Today we are facing a very real threat. The Bush administration and many on the far right are attempting to dismantle the Constitution. As citizens, it is our right, and even duty, to stand up and tell our leaders that they are accountable for their actions, and that no one, not even the President, is above the rule of law.
