Different spots to go?
 Hello all,

We typically go camping in the Allegheny National Forest, or when a 4X4 is available to use we sometimes go to a remote spot by the Yough River. 

I am posting to inquire if anyone knows of any other places to rough camp that are similar to these areas within roughly 2 hours of Pittsburgh? Basically, remote and free. We don't like "campground" type camping.

We would like to try to find some where different to go.

by ANY chance, will you be near Ohiopyle saturday???
i need a ride from OP to rte 31 and the shuttle folks all want $50! yikes! so im hoping to catch someone who has paddled/camped in OP saturday, and is heading back to the turnpike anyhow...
(Heidi/Jason, any recommendations?)

also check out NEOH backpacking club (google)...its free to join and they have a database of a lot of great PA camping areas too...
