The Food Track Is Looking For Your Ideas
Hello Everyone,
My name is Amy and I am in charge of the food track this year. I have a few ideas but, I would like to hear from you all as well. If you have a panel idea, would like to see a past panel again, or would just like to help with a panel I would like to know. You can contact me at: food@penguicon.org
Here are some of the ideas that are going to be happening:
Open Source Soda Workshop
Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream (L2N)
The Chocolate Ritual
The Morning Coffee Ritual
The Art and Zen of Jello Shots
Mixers and Shakers 101
Molecular Gastronomy
These are some ideas for panels that people would like to see happen (THESE ARE IDEAS NOT ACTUAL PANELS):
A presentation or demonstration on homebrewing
Chupaquesos A few people would like to see these make a return to the con
A beer and/or Alcohol tasting
Maybe a panel on gardening techniques
A sensual foods panel
A chocolate tasting or any other food tasting you would like to share
A knives of various types demo
Everyday dishes made simple for the non chef or dishes that require only 3 to 6 items to prepare
Consuite Iron Chef
Vegetarian Anywhere. How to find vegetarian options in a carnivore world
The list could go on and on, so if you have an idea or would like to head up one of the ones listed above please let me know.
