Pastis should be more loyal to his dedicated viewers, like the ones who have been reading the dailes because i cant stand it when he blatantly disregards his previous series. it does make sense b/c he cant have sunday readers seeing the main character dead

Sunday strips are written months in advance. Dailies are written weeks in advance. It's probably difficult to sync the two up. It's likely not a "loyalty" issue.
