Hah, this is apropo for Portlanders, as Starbucks just bought up a large local coffee chain (Coffee People), making the total number of Starbucks in Portland at something like 195 stores.

(sorry, no intention to direspect, I just like the Vanilla Creme Frappcino more than the icy things that Coffee People offered, and so my friends and I would always get into fights about it. Their stongest argument for why the Coffee People > Starbucks was that Coffee People was local and would never ever sell out to Starbucks. Ergo, they lose.)

I don't drink coffee, just the creme frappacinos. And Coffee People's smoothies have NOTHING on Starbucks' Creme Frappacinos. XD Trust me. You're not missing much. ]:D

This joke was on addventure.com years ago. A whole story on how Starbucks was building houses simply so there could be a store in each person's living room. The heros tried to foil this and were attacked with nail guns.

Have you ever noticed that Rat and Pig's neighborhood is always changing - Floyd and Bob are both examples of previous next-door neighbors, but R&P can see the Bumsteads' hpuse from out they're window...the Crocs once showed up on the other side of the fence in R&P's backyard, and the Crocs live next door to Zebra, who's across the street from Bob the Antelope, who, sappearently, has a police office one door down from his house. Goat lives somewhere around hear, as do the Seals...this is all very confusing...
