The only time I want to see someone telling someone specifically what to do (or what not to do) is when he or she is telling someone to see a doctor.
The reasons for this are…
1. We are not Doctors or Nutritional Experts. (This is a support community, not a medical advisory board.)
2. Every person is different and we all react differently to lifestyles and medications.
3. There are as many ways to treat PCOS as there are variations of the condition. Each one has its place and not one of them deserves be openly disrespected.
This community is devoted to helping women accross the globe with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (also known as Stein-Leventhal disorder). Not much is known at this time about what causes this disorder but it is known at this time that it is a hormonal imballance causing large amounts of male hormones and small amounts of female hormones to be released by the adrenal gland. This site is a SUPPORT site. No picking or making fun of any members. For this reason all posting will be members only, same for comments. Replying to a post will only be allowed by members.
