As you may have heard already, Juve won 3:1 against Genoa yesterday! That's great, right? Even more great is the fact that Pavel scored the first goal! I also found a videoclip of the goal at Youtube, in case you're interested in that!

But, this was supposed to be a "Picture of the day" post, so of course I have to give you a picture from yesterday's game. Hope you'll like it!

Such a lovely hug )

Juventus - Bari 4:2 [Jan. 21st, 2007|04:34 pm]

I'm sorry for being a bit late with posting this. I had to leave immediately after the game finished yesterday, and I couldn't get back online until now. Either way, this was a very interesting game for us Pavel-fans, because it was his first league game after the five match ban. And yes - he made such a wonderful return, and scored two of the four Juve goals! I can tell you that I was watching the game almost with happy tears in my eyes at times...it was just so great to see him play again, and even better because he made such a wonderful return.

I also found a Czech article about the game. Unfortunately, my Czech is not good enough to translate the whole article, but the header caught my attention - it said simply "Návrat krále" - which I believe translates to "The return of the King" in English. Such a nice header for an article, don't you think?

So...there are also a couple of interesting things from juventus.com. Just look:

Match report )

Also, there's a little article where he talked about the game and so on.

Nedved: comeback King )

I have to agree with what he says about the league table!

Also, I found a few pictures from the game.
Have a look )

Also - I found an interview in Italian. Unfortunately, I have no idea what he is talking about...but I could still watch the clip over and over, because he's gorgeous. Hope you'll like it, too - and if anyone can speak Italian and would like to tell us a bit about what he says, that would be very much appreciated, too!

Some stuff from Youtube [Jan. 17th, 2007|04:27 pm]

I thought we could amuse ourselves with some cute videoclips from Youtube, while waiting for the next Juve match. Just for your information, the next match is on Saturday, against Bari. Also, Pavel's 5 match ban is over now, so we can look forward to seeing him play again soon!

But...to pass the time until Saturday, I thought it would be nice to look at a few videos. These are commercials with Pavel - and unfortunately, we don't get such interesting commercials in my country. If we did, it would be a reason to sit and watch those things. Just check them out:

Uhlsport commercial - a very short one, but it's Pavel, so it's automatically interesting!
Sky TV football commercial - features Pavel, and various other famous players. I would also be grateful if someone could tell me the name of the song in the commercial?

And if you thought the Uhlsport commercial was too short, you might like this:
The making of the Uhlsport commercial - in which Pavel demonstrates things to do with a football while sitting in a sofa, among other things.

An interview from juventus.com [Jan. 10th, 2007|08:51 pm]

Have you seen this yet? Yes, it's a long interview/article about Pavel! And not just any article either, but one where he talks a little tiny bit about the now famous red card, but mostly about the future.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm the biggest optimist ever after reading this article. Oh, and I'm probably the happiest fangirl ever, too.

Also - a little quote from the article, in case I didn't make you curious enough yet: "I know every now and then my behaviour doesn’t set the best example for the younger players, but that’s always been part of my character. I’ve always done my best to help the team win and that’s not going to change now."

*melts*

He is just...
I have no words.

As for other things - for those of you who haven't seen his goal against AC Milan (Trofeo Berlusconi match from January 6th), I've uploaded it to Youtube, so you can see it there. Hope you'll enjoy. At least I can say I was very happy because he scored, even though I was also sad that Juve lost.

A few notes about Genoa vs Juventus [Dec. 2nd, 2006|03:35 pm]

As you may already know, the game Genoa vs Juventus ended in a 1:1 draw yesterday. This of course means that at the moment, Juve is on top of the Serie B table! (That might change when the other games get played today, though...but let's not speak about that!) Unfortunately, I haven't seen the game myself, but I saw a few videoclips from it, which I thought it would be nice to share here.

Nice things first - Pavel scored the Juventus goal! I'm so happy about that, and I think it was also a very nice goal. He scored it from a free kick, and I think maybe the ball deflected a bit off one of the Genoa players. But really - it was a great goal! Also, if you want, you may download a videoclip of it here. This is his 4th goal this season, by the way! That's nice, right?!

Less nice is the fact that Pavel has got first his 4th yellow card of the season, and later also a red card. He was really, really furious about that red card. I think I have hardly ever seen him being so angry. There are also two videoclips of that, so you can see for yourself. This one shows the situation in which he got the red card, and this one shows him being very upset.

I'm also wondering if anyone knows how many games he has to sit out now? I know it's one because of the yellow card, but then also one or more because of the red card. I'm not sure, so it'd be nice if someone would be able to tell me?
