paulmfanbook If you're here it means you've been directed here by something, or found the link somewhere. Whichever it is, welcome! My name is thisissirius and I will be directing you around this eljay today :D

So, what is this?
The Paul McGillion fanbook was an idea shepsangel and I thought up. We decided we wanted a way that we could thank Paul McGillion for being such a cool person and for brining Carson, who will be sadly missed, to us in such a great way.

Okay, but what's a fanbook?

It's collection of letters and small gifts from fans of all over the world.

What do I have to do?
Nothing, if you don't want you. If you do, however, then thanks! Each person gets a page of the book to create something special. For example, write a letter to Paul and let him know what you love and admire about him. How he may have inspired you to do something, or what his work personally means to you. If youre one of the lucky people who have run into Paul, tell him what it was like/what it meant and if it affected you at all. If you want, you can include artwork, photos and/or some personal information about yourself if you want. It is possible to include small gifts, but remember they have to fit in the book so keep them small and simple, please :D

Things to remember/consider
This is meant to be a tribute to Paul so I would ask, please that you refrain from squeeing too hard, including anything derogatory to Paul, and to please refrain from including anything shippy about Carson or any of his characters. For example, please don't spend the whole page telling him how you'd love to see Carson get together with Rodney, or get back together with Cadman. Thank you.
I haven't decided yet on the format of the fanbook. Guess I'll decide that when and if we get some pages in :D

Well, if you're still interested, please join the comm and come discuss the book with us. We'd love to hear your ideas and questions, so please don't hesitate. I've also created an entry describing what to do for when you've completed your page.
