Issuing a Challenge [Wednesday January 7th, 2009 at 11:01pm] snaresweety13 [ mood | hopeful ] Hi guys!! So I don't know if I can do it on this site, or if I am really even allowed to issue a challenge, so to the admins I'm sorry if you don't want us issuing challenges here or if I'm not allowed, I just wasn't sure where to do it. Anywho, I was watching the Movie the Notebook and for some reason it sort of hit me that Young Noah and Young Allie could totally be Michael and Liz. Or maybe it's just me. But their love story is kinda similar to Michael and Liz. They can't be together for specific reason and Allie getting engaged could be seen as Liz being with Max. I don't know just little similarities that popped out at me. So it got me thinking it would be way interesting to see someone do a take of the Notebook scenes where they are still young using our favorite Polar couple. There aren't a lot of restrictions, it can be AU if you want, it should be set in this time period though, doesn't have to start MA but eventually those two have to get MA with each other and at some point they have to use this argument from the movie: Allie: "You arrogant son of a bitch." I usually lurk, not because I'm some kind of freak I swear, and have decided to step into the light. Okay maybe a bit of a fanfic freak. But aren't we all? Really it's because my only internet access is from my cell phone and when I can steal time on a friend's computer. But for some reason I got inspired to write a fic about our favorite couple, Michael & Liz. All centered around music. And I really need a beta. So if anyone would like to volunteer. I could also just use some general help. I have a play-list of their songs (yes I'm a wee bit obsessed I know) but am always looking for more music to add to it. See the play-list is the basis (and in some ways the inspiration) of my storyline. But I want to know what songs scream Michael & Liz to you guys. What songs make you see them in all their silly, serious, loving, and not-so-loving moments? And yes their naughty ones too (wink). Also what songs make you see the other characters? I want those recomendations as well. I'd love to tell you where I'm going with this but that would give away the story.
