Hey guys! So I've been thinking...and then Zack brought it up again today and I decided it was time.
The band has parted ways so it's time for a new layout! It's been over a year and it's time!
So here are the rules:
1. Contest ends Friday, July 24 at midnight PST.
2. Winner will be announced by Wednesday, July 29 at 10pm PST.
3. Entries must only feature Bden and Spencer and of course, the exclamation point.
4. You may choose whether to submit just a header or an entire new layout.
5. Email all entries to patdlayout@gmail.com
6. The top entries as chosen by the mods will be submitted to Zack who will then show them to Brendon and Spencer who will choose a winner.
If I left anyrhing just let me know!

I'm selling my limited edition box set of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. They're hard to get now since all copies of this edition sold out several years ago.
It's used, but good condition, there are no scratches on the CD and the notebook has never been written in. Other contents of the box (photos, mask, phenakistoscope, tour program, etc) are all unmarked and in good condition.
I am in Australia but willing to ship internationally. Postage within Australia will be $9USD and international shipping should be around $17USD. I only accept PayPal.
Make me an offer (in USD not including shipping) in the comments or via email at preachelectric@livejournal.com - Only bid if you intend to buy.

Brendon and I have been hard at work in the studio writing and doing demos of new songs for all of you. Here is a clip of a new demo we recorded this past week...it's called 'Oh Glory.'
We're really excited about the new songs were working on and can't wait to release more. In a few weeks we'll set out on the Blink-182 tour which is still unbelievable to us. They're the reason I started playing music, and I can't wait to be a part of something so to close me. Check back soon for more updates and our new single 'New Perspective.'

I'm pretty sure we're not doing the whole individual mention bit, but with what's going on (and the fact that it's Pete), who knows...
ETA: I have no idea if there's any importance to this tweet. But, Pete's also been tweeting about doing something "big" when he hits a million followers (which probably won't be tomorrow). But maybe some sort of media?

Panic at the Disco announced that they will be splitting in half, with chief songwriter Ryan Ross taking bass player Jon Walker and heading out “on a new musical excursion.” Frontman Brandon Urie and drummer Spencer Smith will continue on as Panic at the Disco, and the pair will still play their scheduled dates on the Blink-182 reunion tour (with two replacement members, of course).
Ross and Walker haven’t named their new group, nor have they given any indication what it would sound like. But Urie and Smith will reportedly finish up the already-in-progress third album. But what will all this new music sound like? For those answers, we take a look at John Norris’ conversation with the band just prior to the release of their last album. Since Pretty. Odd. had such a strong Beatles influence, Norris asked the group to name their favorite Fab Four songs, and the individual results could be very telling.
Urie and Smith both selected more psychedelic entries in the Beatles catalog (not unlike “Nine in the Afternoon”), while Walker and Ross went with more conventional tunes. Both “Octopus Garden” and “I Am the Walrus” are pop-minded tracks with big choruses — the same types of songs that make up the band’s debut A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out (like “Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off”). So it seems like the band called Panic at the Disco will continue along the lines laid out on Pretty. Odd. and the Ross/Walker combination might be a little more straightforward.
For Panic fans, we want to know: Will you follow both new bands or are you loyal to a particular member?

On August 25, Fueled By Ramen will issue the Jennifer's Body movie soundtrack, which will include Panic's first Ryan Ross-less song, "New Perspective." According to the band's publicist, neither Ross or Walker had any involvement in the track. The song is also scheduled to be serviced to radio on August 17, so now you know when to start calling your local request line. The Jennifer's Body soundtrack will also feature new and unreleased material from All Time Low, Cobra Starship, Dashboard Confessional and others.
