| About: | This is a community created for the purpose of learning and understanding Pashto, the language of the majority of the peoples of Afghanistan as well as part of northwestern Pakistan, also known as Pakhtuns. There are many different spellings of Pashto, due to different dialects of pronounciation, this one is the most common and was therefore chosen as the name for the community. No matter if it is your first, second, third, (etc.) language, feel free to ask (and post) your questions about Pashto- whether you would like something translated, wonder about the proper usage or grammatical structure of certain terms, anything at all! You are also more than welcome to share your own experiences of dealing with the language =) Please keep all posts relevant to the purpose of this community; posts that are off-topic will be deleted without warning. 1.)
