Hey, everyone, this might be a bit of a stretch but I'm a mod over at Veritas a slightly AU Post-Hogwarts RPG.

Anyway, I play Parvati Patil over there, and our Harry Potter player is looking for a Padma Patil to perchance begin a Harry/Padma ship within the RP.

I completely forgot that I had put the community on moderated membership and posting. All back to normal now. So if you haven't read the book, be aware of spoilers.

Still unsure of what to do about this community. Obviously I'm not a very good mod. If anyone have any ideas and suggestions, I'm all ears.
I've been thinking about doing something with the userinfo, and the layout, because I think Parvati would be very offended by the grayness of it. ;)
If there is anyone in the community who are willing to make a layout, and knows how to do the technical stuff to actually get the layout up, I'd be very grateful for any help. I'm not too bad at graphics myself, so I might be able to make the header, but I'm not very good with the rest.

Even though I'm a little late posting this... what did everyone think of Deathly Hallows, and Parvati's very minor role?

I know this community has been very quiet, pretty much since the beginning. I'm waiting until after Deathly Hallows to see if my Harry Potter and Parvati interest will be rekindled enough to keep this going, or if I'm going to look for someone to take over.

But the reason I'm posting is to let you all know that in the days up until Deathly Hallows I have put the community on moderated membership, and moderated posting, to try to keep us all safe from spoilers, at least in this community. I might keep it like that for a while after the book is released as well, for the sake of everyone who doesn't get to read it right away. I hope you all enjoy the book, and have/are enjoying the Order of the Phoenix movie.

I was rather a fan of Sitara, myself, and I have to admit, I was terribly disappointed to see the Patils recast; especially since it was in favour of two girls who were not twins!

Hi all, I haven't posted here in ages (sorry!), but wanted to share my new discoveries for those looking for appropriate and pretty faces for Parvati (and Padma) since many of the popular actresses, like Aishwarya, do not really look school-age.

1. Parvati Melton (appropriately named!), a 17-year old model/actress who is probably my favourite Parvati/Padma right now because she has quite a variety of looks.

Your mod again. I have organized tags now, but I'm still working on it. I think you're all able to add tags to your posts by using the "edit tags" button after you post, but as for now I can do that for you if you forget or don't know how.

I haven't been very active here, or done much to keep this community active, and I'm sorry about that. I'll try to think of something, but the truth is I haven't been very active in the HP fandom at all.
So I was wondering if someone wanted to co-mod? If you do, just leave a comment here, or e-mail me (justams@gmail.com). Tell me why you want to be a co-mod, and do make sure that you intend to be more active then I have, or it wouldn't be any point. Truthfully, you might end up being the only mod, but I will give it another try before I give up. I do still love Parvati... :)

I have been thinking of making a masterlist of Parvati fics, but as I haven't been very active in the fandom, I'll need help with that. So if you have any fics with Parvati, or know of any, please comment with the links here.
