What size cages do you guys have for your CAGs? I'm asking because I have my bird in a large cage, while my uncle keeps his CAG in a medium sized cage. Both birds do just fine. I was just curious as to whether this was common or whether more people opt for the larger cage. I am moving within the next month and space will be limited, so I was debating transitioning my grey into a medium cage before we leave. Once we move I will be home during the day, so she will be out of her cage most of the day, but I still wasn't sure if a medium cage would be enough space for when she is actually in it.
Thanks!

I have taken my Grandma's parakeet in since she is sick. I probably will have him for a long time so after quarentine I would like to introduce her to the big cage with my two keets. The new keet seems to be a different type keet because she so much bigger than my two guys. I wonder about how to go about introing her into the cage since they are all untame. Any suggestions? |

Should I be worried that my bird smells of cinnamon sugar? She's on a liquid calcium supplement that I assume is sugar based, but cinnamon? She doesn't have cinnamon in her food unless -- could it be the low fat pellets she's on now? They're made Roudybush and I suppose they could affect her scent. I'm just not sure if I should be concerned. If not, well, there are worse things she could smell of. :) |
