| About: | The internet is full of information about parrots. This community is full of information about that information - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the just plain foolish stuff that has been written already as well as reactions to it and suggestions for improvement. Most of it is my own commentary and opinions on common beliefs, practices and trends that I've observed among parrot owners, and should be taken as such. It's not necessarily the be-all, end-all of parrot knowledge, but I like to think that it's got at least some merit. I'm always open to hearing other people's opinions, and comments are welcome (anonymous comments are screened to minimize spamming, I'll display all comments that aren't spam whether I agree with them or not). If you have a topic that you'd like to see addressed on the community, either respond to a post or send an email to parrotfoo at gmail dot com. Info on parrots needing to be rescued is also welcome and I'll try to make consolidated rescue posts every week or so. | ||
