Welcome to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) parisiandemands,
a community made to offer free layouts for LJ. We mostly focus on glam
(or just glam related) layouts, but will make other layouts too.
At this point, I also take requests. Click here
for more info.
You have to join to be able to use the layouts. Please read the rules
before doing so.

usually is included in the layout code overrides.
* Do NOT share the layouts with someone who is not a member.

Q. How come the header and/or sidebar isn't showing up?
A. This is most likely because you haven't submitted a website into
you userinfo. To do so, go here. If you don't have a website, just link to
your own LJ.
Q. Can I use your layouts as a base for my own?
A. It depends on how much you intend of alter it. If you're only
going to alter it a bit, I still demand that you give credit. But if
you're going to alter it totally, so it's impossible to see that you even
used one of my layouts in the first place, I do not demand credit, even
though I'd really apriciate it.
I know this might sound weird, but it's because I like to encourage people
to make their own layout. It's not that hard, and the only thing you
actually need is a decent program to make the graphics, like Photoshop or
Paint Shop Pro.
Q. Why won't any of the images show up? I have submitted a website!
A. It is probably because you haven't replaced the image URLs with
your own. You have to save the images and upload them to your own
imagehost for it to work. For further installation instructions, click here.
Q. Why "Parisian Demands"?
A. It's a part from the lyric of the song "Sebastian" by
Steve Harley. The song is also included in the movie Velvet Goldmine. I
thought it sounded cool and glammy, so I went for it. First, I wanted
"Lipstick Traces", but it was already taken. |
